Medli can't fly

I'm stuck in Earth Temple. Medli tells me she doesn't have the confidence to fly. She can carry Link to the first pillar, but can't reach the second pillar under command. I've tried flying her around but she can't fly far. I can't reach the second pillar using the deku leaf.

Have you tried throwing her?

She can fly alright, i never had no problem with her not being able to fly far.

You should be able to use the Command Melody to made her fly.

Have you tried jumping off of the pillar while carrying Medli? She should be able to carry you.

Carry Medli and jump to the first pillar so she carries you there.

Use the Command melody to control Medli.

Move Medli to the bottom of the pillar and fly up to it.

Remember: keep tapping A to fly.

Use her to carry you to the first pillar. Leave Link on the first pillar standing on the switch and use the Command Melody on Medli.

Fly medli to the second pillar and press on the switch. The door will now be open. Make Medli jump down from the pillar so she is on the ground again. Exit the Command and make Link jump down from his pillar. Carry Medli into the next room.

I'm assuming that's what room you are in, the one with the Moblins, two pillars, steps and a locked door that is near the entrance of the Earth Temple.

There must be your problem.. Medli can fly, but she needs to be helped you can't just jump up and expect to get across.. Try jumping up and then flying along with tapping A alot.

When you jump with her carrying you you don't need to tap A... tapping A is only needed when you car controlling her with the Comman Melody. She will fly you across just fine on her own, I've never needed to tap A.

No she can't do it all by herself with Link going to the second pillar, and then stand on the switch. You need to use the Command Melody... I am 100% positive on that.

Hmm.. I thought you were talking about her picking you up and flying you. But if you were talking about having to tap A when controlling her with the Command Melody, then you are 100% correct in having to tap A for that. But you don't need to jump... Medli can't jump, unless you count those small jumps that she does when walking up stairs. So, just tap A and she will take off, and use the directional pad to move her around.

Well all we have to do is wait to see what happens.. if Zayvar actually does any of our suggestions

Zayvar's only got one post, Zayvar'll probably check what we've posted, do what we've suggested and leave it at that.

Playin the song everytime was annoying. I remember doing it. I remember thinking she couldnt fly worth crap at first also.

The question has been answered in this thread. As well, you should also consider checking the ZU walkthrough for the game.
