Is FSA worth buying for one player?

Well, I'm wondering if it's worth buying FSA for just one player. I know it's playable for one, but is it really worth my money for pure solo gaming? And if yes (or no), why?

Re: Is FSA worth buying for one player?

If you really are worried about the money....no
If you really are not a hardcore Zelda fan.....no
If you feel that it would be lame by yourself..no

But if you are a hardcore Zelda fan that would buy any Zelda game and you had to work your fingers to the bone to have enough money to buy the game...then I'd say yes.

I think it is worth it because it has been awhile since there has been a new Zelda game. Take while you still can. If money is the issue, then you could buy a used one (they are usually $5 bucks cheaper at Gamestop), wait for a couple of (gulp) months and the price will lower itself (depends on how sales are going).

If you feel like if it's just worth to buy it for a solo game then (Im assuming) why did you buy the Gameboy games? Ok so the Gameboy games may be $15 cheaper but a game is a game. Its there for your entertainment. Find a friend and play it with him/her. I think that will make it enjoyable.

Better yet. If you have a brother/sister/ or friend. You can split the money (so each would have to pay about $25) and you can both play it. It's a win/win deal man. (even better than that, find three friends so each of you have to pay is $12.50)

Re: Is FSA worth buying for one player?

Well, it kind of reminds me of Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, the only reason I would buy it is for multiplayer, and I don't have enough equipment to play it, which is why I'm probably not getting FSA.

Re: Is FSA worth buying for one player?

Well recent reviews are saying that FSA is a great game, single or mutiplayer. Though mutiplayer looks better, I'm still going to get it. For any review of it, just type " Review of Four Swords Adventures" and you will get many. Though they are all mostly positive, and thats why I plan on getting it.

Re: Is FSA worth buying for one player?

There, you see Davewaveman. The majority of the people in this thread are going to buy it. I'm not trying to peer presure you (eventhough just saying that makes the next thing I'm about to say is peer presure) but the least you could give it is a shot. Buy the game, keep the receit(sp?), play for about a week, and then judge it. If you don't like the game, send it back to the store and get your money back. If you do like the game, keep it.

If money is still an object here I have a couple solutions I haven't said before. Barrow(sp?) the game from one of your friends that buys it (after you tear it away from his dead hands), play it on your gamecube and save a new file on your memory card. If you don't have a friend that could lend out his/her game, go to your nearest Movie/Video Game Rental Store, (they are bound to have that game 0-4 days the game comes out) rent it, play it, save it on a file, then judge it. And after you judge it you could either

If you like it:
-Rent it again and again until you are through (might as well buy it, you would probably burn a hole through your pocket after renting it so much)
-Rent it once, save up money, buy the real deal.

-or-

If you don't like it:
-erase any file on your memory card
-forget about buying the game and wait until "The Minish Cap" comes out on GBA.

Re: Is FSA worth buying for one player?

Well I think FSA will still be a pretty good game for single player. I mean hey, it's Zelda, it has got to be worth getting. Besides, I got plenty of money right now so I am set to get it.

It's going to be mine on Monday, and I recommend to buy it. Any Zelda game is great. Go, and reserve it for 5 measly bucks and get a t-shirt!! YAY!!

All you are getting is a T-shirt?! At my Gamestop they are giving me a T-shirt and a GC/GBA connector cable (eventhough I have one already). I wonder if other stores are giving different things as well?

Re: Is FSA worth buying for one player?

Thank you guys, I was planning to buy it before I asked, but I just wanted to be sure. (Because FFCC wasn't that good solo) You convinced me into buying it. And I think I may find a few guys to play with, even though it's not going be easy.

Your Welcome. I was thinking, it's times like these that it would help if Nintendo had more online games. You said it was boring to play FFCC alone and to play with your friends on FSA won't be easy so these are opportune moments that having online gaming could "carry the load" of not having so much trouble playing with your friends.
