There's been plenty of discussion about Hero's Shade being the Hero of Time in Theorizing. It's possible, sure. But that would mean Link speaks ingame, omg
I borrowed my TP to a friend, it's been gone for months, and I just got it back. I had completely forgotten where I left my save... I've been doing 3 heart runs on some games now and quickly started one with TP as well. Some time later I realised I had saved the new game over the file I'd several months ago tried to 100% -____- Goddangit. I don't remember how much I had left to find in it but... Oh well, next time then. Still, what an idiot..... (That's what I get for protecting my sister's file. I'm too nice.)
I'm also finding I don't like running through games and avoiding most sidequests. I like sidequesting a lot, and just running from dungeon to dungeon to avoid finding heart pieces makes the game feel empty. Other than that, 3 hearts is muchly fun.
I almost completed the gallery before, but the memory card got lost =S I forget though, I know some things (Like the Pirates) you take one picture and it gives you the whole group. I forget if it does it for Tingle & co. or not, because I'm pretty sure I lost the Gameboy Advanced-Gamecube adapter, therefor making it impossible for the blue one to appear. =s
I haven't been too high on Twilight Princess since beating the second or third time, but at the beckoning of my sister, we are playing through it again. We just finished escorting Prince Ralis to Kakariko Village.
Up to this point, the game has been incredibly strong--possibly living up to the title "greatest Zelda ever." The Forest Temple and Goron Mines are superb dungeons and the pacing is incredible. There is a perfect picture of story and game play, as well as original twilight realm wolf game play and classic Zelda light world game play. The atmosphere is really stunning at times.
Thanks to IGNIS for the amazing signature! NNID = Bill1989. Let's play Mario Kart!
Unfortunately I don't think this is the place to ask for particular game help Twili, so this is likely to be closed soon.
If you are having trouble with Sols, I discovered the strategy of letting the hand drop on the Sol, and when its down hit it with the clawshot. This stuns it for a while, increasing the distance between you and the hand, and can be done infinitely as the clawshot is used rather than arrows. That made the palace of twilight dungeon much easier for me in general.
That's what made the old games great. Things were actually difficult and you were much more likely to die. The recent games have been getting more creative puzzles, but the difficulty has been lacking.
If they could go back to ALttP type difficulty and keep making more creative and hard puzzles like that, then we will have a kick ass Zelda game.
I still want Retro Studios to try a Zelda game.
