Re: TP Hoping for a master quest?

I thought you were asking if I would like a 'Master Quest' version of it. There's no word of one being in the works.

I'd much rather have a TWW MQ. TP is good as it is, but TWW really needs some improvements in the challenge department... And hopefully more dungeons...

I'd rather have TWW or MM master quest.

Re: TP Hoping for a master quest?

Hate to be the naysayer, I liked TP a lot, but I'm gonna have to pass. I prefer that they focus their maximum concentration on Zelda Wii, because I hear TP's Wii version had terrible controls and nearly blinded people.

I haven't thought of an MM Master Quest. That'd be really cool, but that's highly unlikely.

How did it nearly blind people? I've played it and I'm fine. The controls were good, but did have some bugs with it's sensitivity.

I'd be in favor of a Master Question version of TP, if it came out when TP originally launched. I'm not in favor of Nintendo to make a TP Master Quest now because TP's done and over with. They're working on a new Zelda Wii and should keep working at it.

Re: TP Hoping for a master quest?

I really don't want a TP Master Quest. The reason OoT got a Master Quest is because Nintendo considers it one of, or the best game ever. TP was lacking, so really, if Zelda Wii is good, in the five years afterwards, we could get a MQ of that.

On the other hand, I heard that Miyamoto himself considered Twilight Princess to be a flop, so they development team may find the need to create a TP Master Quest as a 'second chance.'
Just because OoT Master Quest was made and OoT happens to be Nintendo's favorite game doesn't mean that's the only reason any Master Quest version for any game would ever be made.

Anyway, I like the idea. I would definitely check it out should it ever come around. Maybe some of the bosses will actually try to attack you then and enemies won't take one swipe to defeat with the Master Sword. It could also be a chance to add some of the beta material. For example, Moblins, the giant creature in the woods, Magic Meter, etc.

Re: TP Hoping for a master quest?

Yeah what was up with the shark boss?! As soon as he comes out of the hole, he starts swimming around in a big circle and can't figure out where you are if you stay on the ground. Intimidating yes, intelligent no. If they do make an MQ, that's the boss I crave improvement on. Make him more like Gyorg, scary.

You must mean Morpheel, who, as its name suggests is more like an eel than a shark. But I agree with you completely. The concept of chasing a mile-long creature underwater backgrounded by epic music was intimidating (enough to be my favorite boss), but I discovered that the only time Morpheel actually attacks is if you swim right in front of its mouth and let it suck you in. Other than that, it's cake to win that battle.

Re: TP Hoping for a master quest?

Well, I don't think they will make a Master Quest for TP. They won't make a MQ for just every zelda game. They only did it with OOT because it's ♥♥♥♥ing famous.

Re: TP Hoping for a master quest?

if i remember correctly the only reason oot has a master quest is cuz they made it as Ura Zelda for the n64 DD, which they never released. not cuz the game was so awesome.

Do I want one? Yes. Yes I do.

The chances of it being realistically feasible on the other hand are just about nil.

So yeah.

Re: TP Hoping for a master quest?

The bosses are FUN, isn't that good enough for you? Well, it's good enough for me.

The only quip I have about the bosses is how you can't rebattle them, like in Majora's Mask and Wind Waker.

Re: TP Hoping for a master quest?

For me, bosses have to be challenging to be fun.

And yes, rebattling them would be fun.

Absolutely. Maybe instead of searching the Great Sea for the Triforce Shards, I'd prefer to search for them in a new temple or two.

I don't think I'm alone when I say this, but WW really started to lose steam when the search for the triforce shards started. The game would improve immensely if you could search for them in a new dungeon.
