Re: What would you rate LoZ:WW out of ten?

9/10

Great game with a great story and good gameplay.
But...

The game is too small, and 70% of it is made of sidequests. If you just play the main storyline, you won't explore 2/3 of the islands.

In all those islands, many other dungeons could be implemented.

And that's why I won't give it a 10.

5/10.

A dull storyline with no villain, combined with mediocre control and overworld? No spank you.

I'd have to give it a 10. It was different in a way but maintained the Zelda way of gaming.

I gave the Wind Waker a 9, because the gamplay was pretty decent, the weapons were similar to others from previous games, you get the Hero's Charm that lets you see the health meter of your enemies and bosses, except Ganondorf, and the Ganon battle has to be the best one because the background music is suspenseful, a tougher Ganon, and the second time you see the Master Sword go into Ganon's head.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:WW out of ten?

2/10. By far my least favorite Zelda game. Apart from a few of the songs in the game, I liked absolutely nothing. The game was far too easy, and I was bored the entire quest. I had to force myself to finish it. I was bored with the ending as well. Having a swordfight with Ganondorf was a nice idea, but it was pulled off terribly. The fight ended up being too easy and simple.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:WW out of ten?

10/10. Quite honestly, I think it was the first Zelda game that actually gave Link any techniques that required some sword skill. I love using those parry attacks for that reason. It had nice sidequests, as well as some fun minigames, such as the mail game. I loved doing that once I got the hang of it.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:WW out of ten?

I gave it a 9/10

The first thing that really struck me in this game was the stunning music. I love listening to the press start screen.

The graphics and movement are smooth and flawless, not to mention that Toon Link's expressions are priceless.

Am I the only one who didn't mind hunting for the Triforce of Courage?

The two major things that kept me from voting it to be a 10 are: the difficulty and number of dungeons/temples. The game was exceedingly easy. Honestly, I found the Minish Cap to be harder... And would have loved to see some temples in Hyrule (excluding Ganon's Tower).

But overall, it is an excellent game that I'd recommend to anyone =]

This makes no sense to me, coming from someone who calls Twilight Princess and Minish Cap the best in the series.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:WW out of ten?

WW had, in my opinion, the smoothest combat and swordfighting out of all the Zelda games (yeah, better than TP). Interesting storyline, good character depth (actually quite more than in TP), bosses with decent difficulty, the fact that monsters can hit each other (my favorite).

Music and graphics were also awesome. Actually toward the end, I felt really bad for Ganondorf. He waited so long to wish Hyrule back and then the King Daphnes shows and says, "SCREW YOU, *****!!"

Oh, and this is just my opinion, but I wonder if anyone agrees with me in saying that Hyrule should have been exposed. It would have been amazing to see the water level go down, exposing Hyrule after centuries of being trapped under water. Maybe even another adventure...but imagine what kind of awesome cutscene that would be...

I didn't like the cell-shaded much, just made it look really cartoonish. If it wasn't cell-shaded I'd say this was the greatest Zelda ever.

I gave it a 9.
