The real bone I had to pick with this game. I was so disappointed when I found out.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:TP out of ten?

I gave it an 8.
The gameplay and plot in itself were pretty good, but the dungeon music was just awful.

9. If there was a 9.5 option, I'd pick that.

Unless, that is, if it's Tetlink. Tetlink is adorable. Wait, that doesn't REALLY count as Zelink, does it? I mean, it does, but it's not the same Zelink as it is in the other games. And it's still considered Tetlink in the end. But it's still officially Zelink, right?

i would say a 9.5. I loled when i saw two people gave it a one. You can not be a legend of zelda fan and think Twilight Princess deserves a one.

Really? An 8 is perfect for this game. I don't think it was great enough to give it a 9.5. I would have given it a 1 if the story wasn't the way it was.

Also, how does giving it a one mean that you aren't a true Zelda fan?

Re: What would you rate LoZ:TP out of ten?

Any Zelda, especially Twilight Princess deserves something over a 9. TP's average is a steady 9.5 for every accumulated score. The high 80s and the low 90s are pretty rare, when you compare the game to the rest of the gaming industry.

Well, TP wasn't that great. OoT was better. And so was MM. I don't see how you could like TP that much. It was too easy for me.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:TP out of ten?

A Zelda fan likes every Zelda game. It's okay to like one over the other, but I certainly don't think it's okay to hate any Zelda game and still be considered a true fan. Just doesn't make sense. I'm a fan of every Zelda, I wouldn't act like a freakin' baby and give a Zelda game a 1 because it had a yeti in it.

Then you must have really sucked at OoT and MM, because they were no more difficult at all.

And who are the ****s who gave TP a 1? Do you people even know what a 1 is? A 1 is a game that's nearly unplayable, and TP doesn't fit that description at all, no matter what your rapid fanboyish minds tell you.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:TP out of ten?

i averaged all the votes so far and they turn out at 8.25. I still think that a big 8 is the perfect score for this game. the beautiful graphics, amazing music, and some pretty fun items you can get make up for some of the gameplay flaws that are obvious in the game. this is one of the games that you can just walk around and explore hyrule just because the graphics are so beautiful.
the game was easy for even me, this is the first zelda game i've ever completely played through, i never had to try more than twice at a boss, and i think i only had to try twice like 2 times. so yeah, it was easy, as a game, but if you take the time to just walk around, ride epona around hyrule, stand on the bridge of eldin and look at the scenery, play a couple of the minigames, this game can make you happy in more ways than just the quest to save zelda. It's got replayability. it's beautiful. more sidequests, and it being a longer game/harder could have landed this game a 9.

My theory for Zelda Wii-
The girl in the concept art is the living/spiritual incarnation of the Master Sword. She will change between Sword and human at her own will at first, aiding you with tips, etc. (like Midna) in her human form, and then obviously being your sword in, well, sword form. Later in the game you will get the ability to change her between her forms by yourself.

I say 10/10. Only thing I didn't like was having to kill the bugs in twilight as a wolf.

I would give it a 9. A great story, great characters, but not so challenging. It needed to be harder.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:TP out of ten?

I gave it a 10/10, the best zelda game so far!

My only criticism is how it feels like halfway through the game they realized that it wasn't a really good idea to have Zant as a final boss and just snuck Gannondorf into the plot somehow.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:TP out of ten?

9. It did better than other Zeldas in the areas that mattered most to the series (which is NOT to beat fan over the head with innovation, what LoZ has shown time and time again to fail at, but adhering to tradition), with it's glaring flaws being only the fundamental issues associated with 3D Zelda games (whereas the biggest flaws of other 3D Zeldas were BECAUSE of their sense of innovation). That includes the piss-easy difficulty (OOT's only big challenge was Phantom Ganon, and that's a maybe, MM's was Gyorg, I'll get back to you all on WW and TP). There was also only one dungeon that I outright hated.

Other than that, TP was an amazing game. One of my two favorites in the Zelda series (the other being TMC).
City in the Sky was the best dungeon to come out of a 3D Zelda in a long time. Snowpeak Ruins on the other hand; terrible concept (and I'm one to judge execution of a concept before the concept itself), equally bad layout, annoying enemies (who's challenge came more from their abundance than thier difficulty), and an utterly STUPID boss. The best things to come out of the dungeon were the item (bomb replacement on a chain), and the snowboaring mini-gme to get there which proves that TP has some of the only good mini games in a 3D Zelda.

But yeah, TMC is a bit underrated.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:TP out of ten?

I never really liked TMC, it's one of my least favorite Zeldas. :C

I don't like anything that has to do with ice...a ton of people were telling me that SnowPeak was amazing...and it was like, my least favorite level. I just don't like cold...even if it's in a video game.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:TP out of ten?

I'd probably give it a 7. The hype was probably the real killer here, but even then it was still too easy. I wasn't overly impressed with how they handled Zant later in the game, either. It's still enjoyable, regardless.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:TP out of ten?

Gamecube version gets a 9.5 from me. I loved it. I never got exposed to the hype like so many others so that really helped. Even though the controls have been done before, it was still good and enjoyable.

Wii version gets a 8. I didnt like the mirrored maps and i found some of the controls to be kinda crappy.
