Re: What would you rate LoZ:TP out of ten?
There's no room for it. Plus, TP is far too amazing for it to even be an option, even if there was room in the poll.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:TP out of ten?
That's debatable. TP is an OK game, but it's not amazing. I'd say it's a mid 80's game at best.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:TP out of ten?
Meh, 7.5/10 for me, though I had to round down. I was extremely disappointed with the lack of a magic meter and any sort of difficulty at all. I mean, herding goats can be harder than fighting Fyrus... However, Epona was animated-gorgeously and I was more than happy to see the environment take a beautiful step into realism. At risk of sounding like everyone else (or at least every other MM fan), the lack of good Side Quests was a bit of a let down.
Be that as it may, I still found things to love about the game, and I'd recommend it to anyone. |

Re: What would you rate LoZ:TP out of ten?
A solid 9. I'll get into detail right away.
It feels wrong to judge TP (or any Zelda game, really) based on nitpicky details that probably doesn't affect your experience with the game whatsoever. It feels wrong to focus so hard on those flaws we know exist within the game. Because certainly there are flaws - no-one should deny this, even if they themselves wouldn't necessarily be bothered by said flaws at all. Of course, it's always a matter of perception. There are awfully few "wrong" things about TP that can't be stamped as opinionated. That the story lost priority half way through the game is a fact. That this is a bad thing, however, is opinion. I've always heard that the characters are crap, or "flat". That's something I disagree with heartily. I find TP's characters to be charmingly portrayed as your day-to-day civilians, normal people that can play a role in even the most epic of adventures. It's really something different from the likes of OoT and MM. I've always felt that storywise, TP couldn't have been better, and at the same time it could have been too. It got off to a slow start, but in return it tells a very significant, epic tale. For four dungeons it's one adventure after another, with great flow and engaging sequences that will keep you going. I'll admit that for the Temple of Time and Snowpeak Mansion it does die down considerably, but I believe that the magic of the story returns for full towards the City in the Sky. My biggest complaint about TP's story would have to be the sudden implementation of Ganondorf - a little more build-up would have made him much more epic as a final boss. Like what OoT and WW did. I will give major props to the final battle, however. It's simply grand. A big minus - or plus - about TP is how traditional it is. I, personally, am not as enthusiastic for "CHANGE CHANGE CHANGE" as the rest of the Zelda fanbase. I suppose it's because I'd rather have fresh ideas implemented into the familiar setting that is Zelda. Not a remodeling of the franchise itself. Dungeon wise, TP is great. Some of the dungeons are on par with the likes of the Spirit Temple from OoT (but not quite. I luffs me duh Speereet Tempuhl). I especially love the Arbiter's Grounds, Snowpeak Mansion and Goron Mines. It's very exciting how they managed to make dungeons out of an oversnowed mansion, a ruined building in the middle of a forest, and a city floating in the sky. The bosses were nicely pulled off, especially the likes of Stallord and Blizzeta. Very original, very fun, very engaging. Lastly, I'll talk about the items. Playing the GC version, I immediately familiarized with some of the items. The Hero's Bow, in particular, was just how I remembered it from OoT and MM, except this time it didn't have magic arrows but bomb arrows. The Clawshot was an instant homage to the Hookshot, yet it felt entirely different zooming from wall to wall in the City in the Sky. The Gale Boomerang had entirely different uses from any previous boomerang. Wherever I see something familiar, I also see something new. It's wonderful how they managed to put originality into items I thought had none left. They even put a new use to the iron boots. And of course, there are those once-in-a-lifetime items. I personally loved the Spinner. Amazingly well done in the boss fight with Stallord, and well implemented into later dungeons like the Temple of Time. Looking at the item itself, I would never have been able to think of the many uses this item would be put into. The Dominion Rod was fairly interesting, if not a tad boring. Afterall, smashing bugs with the statue's hammer in the Temple of Time was so rewarding, and seeing the giant stone hand smash Armogohma sent chills down my spine, but after the Temple of Time it loses much of its fun and becomes strictly a puzzle item. I'll give it that - the role it played in the pre-City in the Sky quest was intriguing. And then there's the Ball and Chain. Little point beyond Snowpeak whatsoever, but goddamn isn't it awesome to smash things.

8/10. I thought the main storyline was good, graphics were awesome, music was good but the boss battles needed to be harder.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:TP out of ten?
I would give it a............ 8/10. It wasn't great. The story was okay but I didn't like the graphics to much. The story was fun and I loved Midna. She was the best Character.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:TP out of ten?
I rated an 8. I liked it, but it just sort of felt like it was missing something. It was great in some areas, but seemed a bit lacking in others.
I liked some small detail things, like how you can slice grass while running, and some of the more important things, like all the midna related information.

Re: What would you rate LoZ:TP out of ten?
All of my top 6 Zelda games deserve a 10. We're talking about the best Game franchise ever here. OoT, MM, TP, LA, ALttP and TWW are all 10s in my book and all the rest are in the high 9 section.
Anyone who gives TP a 1 should just fall off a cliff ya' know?

Re: What would you rate LoZ:TP out of ten?
The game has a very deep story and it is also a very epic one. With good Orchestrated music and a lot of Twists . This game is one of the most important games in the timeline (next too OoT)
The only thing I didn't like was the water temple it was a ****** but I guess it was pretty satasfiying when i beat it. a 9
