Skullkid in TP same as one in MM?

It never occured to me that Tp's Skull Kid was the same one from Oot and MM. I haven't played tp in a while though, Skull Kid was guarding the Master Sword? I always assumed that it attacked Link because Skull Kid's hate adults...

I disliked the skull kid in TP it actually pissed me of something terrible trying to hunt him down trying to find the Sacred Grove. UGGGG XD I try to forget about him as much as possible

someone mentioned something about this skull kids lanturn.
maybe he trapped the fairies in there. or the fairies just left him after so long. or maybe they died. no one can really be sure, but good catch with the lanturn thing.

and to the people who are talking about the door or time protecting the master sword, we see that the door of time, and the temple of time is destroyed bt TP's time. Plus, there was 2 guardians at the doorway of the temple ruins, so why couldnt link told skull kid that if anything did so happen to the temple, to help someone worthy of the sword to the 2 other guardians?

I doubt they are the same. It's a nice thought, but I don't see any reason why he would become the guardian of the sacred grove. I really think that he is a spirit that took on the form of a skull kid.

That's not more of a stretch than to say its a known character?

I think he is same the same because in the OoT you befriend him. Also because in MM he is probably srry for what he had caused so he wants to make it up to link.

There was many Skull kids, we just don't get to see them all.

He is NOT there because OoT/MM Link befriends him. Skull Kids are one of the inhabitants of the Lost Woods/Sacred Grove, so Link was bound to come across a Skull kid in TP.

I think it's possible that there is an entire race of Skull Kids, and that they passed down Saria's song through the generations.

i agree he would have tatl and tale if it was the same skull kid from MM so its not the same skull kid

Being the only skull kid in TP does not mean he is the only one that exists at that time. Remember, TP only shows the parts of Hyrule that matter to the story, there is much more to Hyrule than that

i would say no he isnt because majoras mask skull kid and faires and in a diffrent dimention (or somthing like that) so i doubt it. i think he's just there to have fun and skull kids are kikori who got lost in the lost woods if im correct

Skull kids are children who wander off and get lost in the forest and then adapt to the enviroment, i also believe that children that are tired of civilization or just tired of their friends or/and family wander off in search of the skull kids, wishing to be one of them.

i also believe that just because the tp one knows sarias song doesnt mean that he's the Skull kid that appears in MM, there's a lot of skull kids, and i think they're aware of each other, i think they conduct celebrations and rituals, speaking and playing with each other and helping other skull kids in need. however i do think that even though they have this sense of companionship they like to spend most of their time alone. i think that's why they've passed down Sarias song, to remind themselves of the place they originally came from.

i also think that they control the woods in some way, can create illusions to play with and trick people that are walking in the forest, making them wander lost forever.

also, i believe that the skull kids never die of age, that they never grow up (much like kokiri) and that they are eternal beings watching over the forests, and that every single one of them has a different story about how they turned into the creatures they are today.

It's a good theory, but I really don't think that it is the same Skull kid as the one from MM. You have to remember that there were other skull kids in OoT in the Lost Woods.

The one from TP could be one of them, or one of the descendants.

Skull kids are NOT kokiri. They are just regular kids who get lost. The kokiri are immune to the lost woods.

Does anyone have any speculation on this? He's the only Skullkid we see in TP, and I figure if Link were to ask anyone who lives in the woods to protect what's hidden there (the Master Sword, and the Sacred Grove in general) he would ask someone who lives in the Lost Woods, and who was eternally grateful to him.
