As many of you will agree, Ocarina of Time will forever be one of the most memorable of the Zelda titles. Be that as it may, I think it's time to expose a new generation to the magic and wonder of the game. I am very much aware that the title is available on WiiWare; However, I think that a revamping of the graphics could be a lucrative desicion on Nintendo's part. (Though I have to say, I thought the Shadow Temple was creepy in the N64 graphics, so maybe I'll keep the lights on for a new one haha!) Just imagine the graphics of Twilight Princess shining a new light on this classic game. Anyone else agree that Shigeru Miyamoto and Eiji Aonuma should consider this as an option after the new (and mysterious) Wii Zelda release?

Re: Ocarina of Time for Wii?
If the any generation needs to be exposed to anything, it's the N64 generation to ALttP. OoT is not the greatest thing ever and TP isn't OoT 2 it's ALttP 3
. No, but seriously, get over it. What TP took from OoT, OoT took from ALttP.

Re: Ocarina of Time for Wii?
I have long had visions of a larger, more epic OoT with realistic graphics, but my definitive
vision for OoT would probably be better suited for the Wii's successor QFT.

Re: Ocarina of Time for Wii?
Agreed. A Link to the Past is definitely Zelda at it's finest, and not enough people have played it. But, I still wouldn't say no to a revamped Ocarina of Time.

I'd rather have Nintendo work on a new LoZ than remake one that already did amazing things for the series, and make it look 'up-to-date'. I enjoyed the N64's graphics, and I still do. It would look cool with TP's graphics, but I'd rather have them not. I voted for 'it could be interesting', but still would rather have them not do that.

Re: Ocarina of Time for Wii?
What would be cool is a OoT release in Wii graphics, etc.
But when I say OoT, I don't mean thegame for N64. I mean the game we never got to play... The 64DD version, with the new temples and all it's awe. That would be awesome.

By the way, no, I've never met Pizzaro but I love his pies. And all of this pales to utter insignificance in light of the fact that my ship is once again gone. Savvy? |

Re: Ocarina of Time for Wii?
No thank you, OoT's graphics are fine they way they are, and the same for ALttP (which also seems to come up now and again). The only remakes I would like to see are the original LoZ and Z2:AL... but even then I could live without them.

((Didn't we already have a thread like this?))
Yes. I would love to see an OOT remake. It doesn't HAVE to be the Zelda wii Nintendo has been talking about. Maybe after they release it. Plus, a remake means they don't have to think up many new ideas. So it would be easy for them to pull off.

Re: Ocarina of Time for Wii?
They shouldn't remake OoT. The game was great but They could just do the opposite of MM And make a sequel that shows the adult link Time line.
Just look at the concept art of Zelda wii 2. You see an adult link in a giant hole of what appears to be a castle wall.. So this new game could show the aftermath of ganons rule. After you beat the game The redead are still raping anything that gets in their way and the triforce of power will go to another villain. And maybe if were real lucky it could contain the origins of the great flood. |

Re: Ocarina of Time for Wii?
Sure, why not. The new generation needs to play a realy game. Maybe hold off a few years though.

Re: Ocarina of Time for Wii?
I think it should wait for the next console since Iwata said at some point that HD would be a large possibility.
"If we have an opportunity to make a new console, it will probably support HD because it is now common throughout the world," That way people won't be like "OoT for this console too". In my opinion, PS3 graphics are as good as I think we'll need in a long time, until we get 3D I'm sure the next console will probably have close to PS3 or 360 graphic quality. As long as it doesn't get in the way of future Zelda game development, I wouldn't object to a remake on a future console.

Re: Ocarina of Time for Wii?
I think OoT should be allowed to drift off into Zelda History untarnished. It should remain as we remember it. Not revamped.
