Oh, well how is that exactly bad? I mean if you don't like the ending because they do that than it's a rather strange reason.

All around i TP was a long amazing game with lots of memorable moments and tons of action.I feel it holds it own against ocarina.

(if this thread doesnt exactly belong here it might be moved to genral discussion just to note im not for sure though)
FYI Link gets a kiss at the end of AoL

Ok so heres the lowdown:
Oh, by the way, I started Zelda 2 years ago.

OoT-First Zelda Game beaten. Felt like the first time I heard the Beatles. No, better than that. I was completely satified with it and I could tell I was getting myself into a great series.

Tp-was the 2nd zelda game I beat. I really dont see why people here hate it. It was so-so until aftter the first temple. Then, I stepped into Hyrule Field for the first time. It was so epic. From then on out, TP never stopped being epic. At the very end I kind of felt it was a little too easy, but then I found out about the Cave of Ordeals, which made up for that. After the cave of ordeals, I was completely satified with TP.

MM-Back to the n64. Im not gonna go into detail for the rest of the games so ill cut to the chase. I felt like Majora was either too hard or too easy. Hard without the FDM, easy with it. Idk I like MM more and more each time I play it.

PH-This was just kind of Meh. I was irked by the ToOK.

MC-This game kinda left me angry. The whole game was easy, except for the end. It would be ok if the WHOLE game was easy or the Whole game was hard, but no. Only the end was hard. Also i hated the sidequests.

AlttP-Hard game. Kind of. Idk. I was kinda relieved when I beat it and I am getting tired of typing.

Wind Waker. Triforce quest wasnt as bad as I thought or what people say. Needs one more temples. Ganon fight was pathetically easy imo. Last zelda game i have beaten

Currently working on LoZ!!!

I agree with what you said about OoT, MM and TP, but I haven't played the other ones. Good luck on LoZ! It is really challenging.

Re: Your thought's when you beat one of the games.

In TP I was like, "HAHAHA! Take that Ganondorf!".
And then I saw Midna in her true form: OMFG WTF?!
Then at the credits: Aww man, so Midna can't see Link again? EVER?!

And I thought Zelda was gonna have the spotlight.

Re: Your thought's when you beat one of the games.

LTTP: It took me forver to beat this one and I was soooo happy!
MM: I was excited to get this one over with, because I had stopped playing it for awhile, and it was fun to finish. And the final boss was great!
WW: I think this was the first Zelda game I had ever beaten. It was on Thanksgving, so I had a lot to be thankful for!
TP: I thought it was a great ending! I think I almost creied when Midna left....

Wrong. TP has more sidequests and minigames than OoT, which you would know if you could count, but I'll do it for you.

TP's Sidequests/Minigames: Goat herding, bobber fishing, poe collecting, golden bugs, sumo wrestling, the STAR minigame, Plumm's minigame, Iza's River Rapids, finding the Sky Characters, getting the Shiekah statue, talking to all cats in Hidden Village, killing all the Bulblins in Hidden Village, collecting all heart pieces, lure fishing, Falbi's cucco game, snowboarding, the entire first hour of the game, miniboss fights with King Bulblin, escorting Ilia and Telma to Kakariko, Archery in Kakariko, Cave of Ordeals, etc.

OoT's sidequests/minigames: Poe selling, Golden Skulltula collecting, horseback racing, archery in Castle Town/Kakariko, Graveyard tour, Gerudo Training Grounds, Ice Cavern, Bottom of the Well, meeting Zelda, Bombchu bowling, fishing, Magic Bean planting, collecting all heart pieces, and that's about it.

See? TP has more sidequests and minigames.

OoT's NPC's were even worse in that regard.

Oh, come on! OoT is a complete clone of ALTTP, but in 3D. Gain 3 Spiritual Stones/Pendants, claim Master Sword, and awaken 7 Sages/Maidens. OoT even rips off of ALTTP's Light World/Dark World mechanic, but under the guise of time. Get your facts right. And TP has much more "soul" than OoT. Apparently, you forgot Link's relationship with the village children, Midna's huge character development, and Zant's craziness. In OoT, there exists almost none of that. The only "soul" OoT has is its nostalgic value, which people like you so blindly buy in to.

Completely subjective. Stop treating your opinions as fact. For most fans, TP IS epic. You know why? It's gameplay, especially with combat and controls, is far superior to that of OoT and MM because it's much more fluid, fast-paced, and the projectile aiming is flawlessly accurate. In OoT, your sword swings can miss while Z-Targeting. That's terrible. Kind of defeats the purpose of Z-Targeting, doesn't it? Also, in TP's overworld, you can *GASP!* fight enemies! They actually exist in TP's overworld, unlike OoT, who's overworld had almost nothing going for it. Also, in TP, you can use your sword on horseback and the horseback controls aren't as clunky as all hell as they are in OoT.

TP is the vastly superior game from a story and gameplay standpoint, and with video games, those two areas count the most. I'm so sick of hearing people claim TP has fewer sidequests than OoT. If these idiots could count, they would see that TP has far more. Do some research and state some facts before you run your mouths off.

Re: Your thought's when you beat one of the games.

Hold on, HOLD ON.

I never said ANYTHING about the NPC dialogues , and I don't believe I said ANYTHING about sidequests.

Is there a reason your lying about me and whaty I said in my article, Link92? Or are you just a jerk?

EDIT: AND ANOTHER THING! I didn't have a problem with TP's 'epicness'! I was perfectly fine with the story, I just thought that Gannondorf was tacked on at the end as an after thought!

If you honestly think that I'm 'taking my opinion as fact' then you are wrong. I just wrote a couple papers expressing my opinion. The fact that you seem to think that it's coming off as 'supposed fact' shows that you happen to know very little about myself and how people express their opinions.

Re: Your thought's when you beat one of the games.

I'll do this in the order I have finished them:

ALTTP (early childhood): I really can't remember very well the first time I finished since I was quite small but the credits made me cry for some reason; not the part with the results of touching the Triforce but with the names scrolling by. Probably something irrational that happens when you're little. I loved seeing how many saves/deaths it would take me to finish something though. Skeleton Forest would take me 30.

--Long period where I had only an SNES until my next console was a Wii, but I knew quite a bit about the other games and had played bits of them at my friend's house--

TP (December 2006): I thought it was a good ending but I wondered how in the timeline things would work out since Ganondorf has died here as well. I was a little versed in the timeline already and wasn't sure how games could come after it. I've now assumed the reborn Ganondorf theory I've seen on the forums. I was a little moved by Midna's departure through the mirror, and I was sad that she destroyed the last link between the worlds. I was also shocked by Midna's true form, but it was kind of ruined because I'd seen the image already somewhere (once a game is out, spoilers are abound even when you don't look for them).

WW (April 2007): I found the bubble sequence kind of lame but I thought it was awesome how the King of Red Lions touched the Triforce before Ganon did, since I'd become attached to his character. I was sad when he didn't come to the surface like Link and Tetra, and that he left Aryll and his Grandma on the island to go with the pirates.

OoT (May-August 2007): I remember finding the Ganon battle creepy and taking forever to find out you needed the Master Sword, since I was using the Light Arrows/Biggoron Sword. I found the ending interesting but it wasn't one of my favourites for sure.

FSA (October 2007): Not sure if this counts but I remember thinking "that's it?" and moving on to something else since there wasn't anything to do afterwards. Very reminiscent of ALTTP.

MM (2008): I remember being thoroughly pleased with the game and I really liked the ending, except I found it kind of rude how Tatl seems to tell Link to go home, but that may have just been my interpretation.

LoZ (August 2009): Haha is there much to say when it's done? I remember being glad I finally killed Ganon, since he was one of the hardest Zelda bosses, and naturally you go onto the Second Quest, which I still have to finish.

--working on AoL--

Re: Your thought's when you beat one of the games.

(In order of defeat...I know, it's a little "off" but...)

WW - I think I was 12 years old when that came out. Back then, I lived up in the boonies. I ran outside and whisped through the trees and laughed and jumped in excitement as though I were on crack.

OoT - Well...the first time I faced Ganon, my game froze. So I was pissed for a while. Then, I finally beat it. The ending was good but I was like, "Whoaaaaa Zelda...get your mitts off Link..."

MM - Eh. Not my favorite. I was actually slightly disappointed.

TP - I was a little freaked out by Ganon's face as he died...but I liked that he didn't say anything cheesy at the end (like in WW when he was like "The winds...are blowing..." or whatever). And then I cried my eyes out because Midna left (I ended up resurrecting her in a fanfic because I couldn't cope, yes I'm that much of a sap for her.) And I was REALLY pissed that Zelda touched Link's hand when it SHOULD have been Midna...but I was happy again when Link ran AWAY from Zelda to be with Midna.

As you can tell, I'm not exactly pro LinkxZelda.

Re: Your thought's when you beat one of the games.

OoT-Felt kind of sad to leave Zelda and go back in time.

MM-Finally stopped the moon!! Owned, ♥♥♥♥♥! This was probably the only Zelda game I felt happy beating. The other made me feel a bit sad.

WW-Good ending, but then the credits song made me depressed again all of the sudden.

MC-Enjoyable ending, although I wish Ezlo would have stayed with Link

TP-The saddest ending ever. Why did Midna break the damn mirror?

Re: Your thought's when you beat one of the games.

Usually Im happy to finish the game, its a great achievement but Im also thinking that: Man this sucks now I have to wait for the next title to come out

But yeah again Then it gives me the chance to play through again and do things in the game that I missed the first time I played.
