OoT (MQ) and Collectors Edition
I read somewhere on the internet that this actually is the two most sought-after games (game discs?) in the GameCube-library
![]() And I have'm both (Not to brag, just to prove their rareness) ![]() I have the OoT (MQ) disc in the WW Lim. Ed., but doesn't that actually count as having the OoT (MQ), as it is on one single disc? ![]() I'm considering getting the OoT (MQ) in it's own cover later, but for now, I have this as a bonus in the WW ![]() What do you think, ppl? Read this: http://images.google.no/imgres?imgur...N%26start%3D54 Right beneath the photos of Collectors Ed. and OoT (MQ), it actually says "Two of the most sought-after games in the GameCube-Library" or something like that ![]() |

Re: OoT (MQ) and Collectors Edition
MQ only came out everywhere excluding Japan as a bonus disc with WW. In Japan I believe it was released at the time of the N64 with some form of N64 expansion and I don’t think that was released abroad either.
And yeah I’d say it’s hard to find these days but you’re on a Zelda board and a lot of people will have it (including myself). I can easily believe they are the most sought after though [added after picture finaly loaded....] I have never seen it in its own case before, either its fan made or I have missed something

Re: OoT (MQ) and Collectors Edition
Yeah, know, there's a lot of people in here, who is hardcore Zelda-fans, just like me
![]() And that's cool ![]() But afterall, how do I know how to tel a fan-made thing from an original, if the fan-made stuff is so real-looking, then? ![]() And, yeah, OK, I see, but it's tough to get a complete Zelda-collection, and the expand it further, but it's fun, and a lot of hours spent in front of the screen ![]() |

Re: OoT (MQ) and Collectors Edition
I have them both in their original cases I still hate my second grade self for not taking better care of the OoT/MQ disk though. I have two cousins both girls that got a Gamecube around the time it was bundled with the Collectors Edition. They did not like Zelda never played it... and I was like... Can I have it? Then they just gave it to me. I had never played Majora's Mask until that disk... I got lucky. ^.^

Re: OoT (MQ) and Collectors Edition
I got the collector's edition that has Ocarina of Time game and Majora's Mask and the original Legend of Zelda and Zelda II and it has a 20 minute demo of the Wind Waker, its not bad..and every single bit of memory is held on one tiny disk!

Re: OoT (MQ) and Collectors Edition
I have the Collector's Edition with its original cover and case and I have the MQ disc twice, once as part of the The Wind Waker Limited Edition and once as a single disc without any case or cover.
Both are definitely must-have items for every Zelda fan and they aren't as rare as you might think. Just check ebay. But I guess, Master Quest will probably be released for the Virtual Console one day and if that's the case, then you're actually not missing out anything, if you don't have the bonus discs. All the other games except for the Wind Waker demo are all already available on the VC right now.

Re: OoT (MQ) and Collectors Edition
Yeah, I got both. I would assume they are rare, because they came packaged with something else. MQ came with a pre-ordered WW. CE came with a Gamecube bundle pack. I got the CE when I got my Gamecube, and I was lucky enough some sap gave his MQ to a Gamestop store, and my parents were looking high and low for it, and found it.
