ToT vs. CitS- The Final Round of "Favorite Dungeon in TP"

Two Dungeons that stood out since the first round voting-wise have made it to the final round, the one to crown the champion of "Best Dungeon" as voted by the ZU forums.
So, vote wisely for your favorite out of these two, as your vote could make the difference.

(This was a tournament. The 8 other dungeons aren't in here because they didn't have enough votes through the first two rounds to make it. Vote for your favorite out of these 2.)

The girl in the concept art is the living/spiritual incarnation of the Master Sword. She will change between Sword and human at her own will at first, aiding you with tips, etc. (like Midna) in her human form, and then obviously being your sword in, well, sword form. Later in the game you will get the ability to change her between her forms by yourself.

TOT has one of the most original puzzles in the entire series.

City in the Sky, because it is more challenging, built like a maze, better item, and in my opinion harder boss.

I did City the other day, coolest bits are double-clawshotting, and they are too few.

ToT gets my vote

Let's just put this bluntly: I really, really HATE the sky temple!! DX
I had the GC version, and you know how everything is opposite the wii version, right? Well, in the GC version you have to roll over falling blocks and wear iron boots at the same time to fight the wind. I died countless times... T_T All of this to shoot the red diamond...
Plus I liked the color scheme of the temple of time. The cathedral was awesome, and the music made you feel holy lol.

I forget how I got passed that part. I had to somehow leave the iron boots on and do something, i dont even remember.

Anyways, my vote was for City in the Sky. I just enjoyed playing it more than ToT

Er...neither of these are at the top of my list but...

I recently started playing Twilight Princess again. I got to City and the Sky and just...stopped. I remember how grueling it was. The scenery is bland for me...the same colors, all the rooms look the same. So by default, I have to pick Temple of Time. Though I thought it was far too easy.

Re: ToT vs. CitS- The Final Round of "Favorite Dungeon in TP"

Tough...I'm very scared of heights even in video games...that why I couldn't stand the Shadow Temple in OoT. Too much platforming. But both the Shadow Temple and the City in the Sky have grown on me. I like both a lot now. >_>

So CitS for me, even though I was in awe all throughout the ToT, then the booby traps got to me. xD

Temple of Time was a load of fun! I loved running around with Biggins (the statue) and smashing stuff!

I thought the Temple of Time was fun. The Dominion Rod was pretty fun to use too. I didn't really like City in the Sky, but... Argorok was soooo awesome! Anyways, I choose Temple of Time.

I liked the ToT, better. The CitS, was boring to me. It was too big and difficult, or maybe it was just the music.

Temple of Time looked better, had better music and just had an overall more engaging atmosphere. The puzzle was unique and the boss had a real sense of epicness.

Temple of Time gets my vote.

Re: ToT vs. CitS- The Final Round of "Favorite Dungeon in TP"

Hard to say.

City in the Sky’s confusing layout made it more interesting to me, compared to the Temple of Time’s fairly linear map. It’s more satisfying to me to find the way through mazelike dungeons, despite their tendency to be frustrating, and I had a lot more fun fooling around with the Double Clawshot than waving the Dominion Rod. Towards the end of the City in the Sky, I was getting tired of how enormous it was, but the Argorok battle felt so epic that it made the whole thing come together.

However, I liked the environment in the Temple of Time better. I liked how the whole dungeon was full of light, and how the statues and patterns were reminiscent of the Tower of the Gods in Wind Waker. I voted for the Temple mainly for that reason, because Tower of the Gods was one of my favorite dungeons in WW. I didn't think Armogohma was that great of a boss fight, but I enjoyed the atmosphere in the rest of the temple more than in City in the Sky.

The Temple of Time was dull and slightly generic. The City in the Sky was out there, plus the music just hit the right note (hurhur) for me. I'm voting City in the Sky.

temple of time!
it was fun, creative, and epic! the dominion rod and moving the statue, who i nicknamed statue-y, was awesome!

city in the sky was boring, dull, repetative, hard, and the music gave an awful headache!
