I completely hate Midna

Sorry for the " OVER 9,000" angry post.

But, Navi DID provide important info..... so does midna. And no Zelda char bugs people NEARLY as much as that hat thing.

Midna was very annoying. Navi was almost nonexistent in OOT how could she be annoying?

RE 1, 2, 3 were hard, but RE 4 & 5 wern't nearly as difficult. But I'm not whining about it.
Games now are about visuals & REAL story plots. Not this "Help! I'm a princess and I NEED saving because I can't do anything to take care of myself!" followed by five levels that RIDICULOUSLY HARD and boss that's EVEN HARDER!!!!!!

Zelda games are SUPPOSED to make you think! You're SUPPOSED to get stuck. That's what makes them fun.

I was over exaggerating.

And I get it. Difficulty DOES make games more interesting. TP has it's challenges. It just doesn't expect you to know how to beat the game from the very beginning, and TP DOES have a deeper story than OoT.

Compared to the original Zelda games, TP is a walk in the park. I want the challenge back, not the same old puzzles with occasionally semi-hard puzzles thrown in and terrible AI.

On topic: Midna is awesome. Plus her true form is hot.

I really liked having Midna in this game. Unlike the fairy companions she actually HELPED you. I'm not talking about she told you how to defeat the monsters. I mean she quite litterally helped you defeat the Twilight Monsters. We are actually given a partener that had a purpose not just to the game, but to us as well. Huzzah!

Does anybody remember the fan puzzle from Hyrule Castle, where you must blow the fans in a specific order. I just figured it out and then Midna let out her stupid laugh. But none the less Navi and Midna are both fine on my watch.

Um, let's see...... I never really completely hated Midna, I just didn't really like how she um, I don't know, she kinda was a big character.... I would rather have a partner that would tell you some info about some enemies and sometimes remind you what you should be doing, like Navi. I never thought that Navi was really really annoying, but sometimes when it's really quiet and then you hear HEY! , that's a bit annoying. And I didn't really like how Midna helped you out so much, I mean, in a Zelda game isn't the player suppose to think? I never got stuck once in TP, I thought it was too easy.... I kinda wanted a challenge.... And a better storyline, that I would remember, like oot had kinda a special feel to it every time you play it.

Nothing is wrong with Midna. I think people just get annoyed when someone tries to explain gameplay to them.

You could argue that it's the character's personality, but I don't really give a **** because it, in my opinion, completely ruins the entire feel of the game.

In OoT, I got stuck. A lot. Because you actually had to figure stuff out on your own, nothing was ever made too obvious.

Playing through TP, not only do most enemies only deal a QUARTER OF A HEART of damage, but Midna tells you EXACTLY what you need to do every time things get a little difficult.

For example, I can't count how many times, already, that I have come to an obstacle in my path, and Midna will tell me that it's an obstacle. Seriously? Then, I get a cutscene showing something odd about the area, or giving me a general hint. There's no problem with this. But then, right after the cutscene ends, "OMG DID YOU SEE THAT LINK LOLWTF I BET WE HAVE TO GO THERE TO GET PAST HERE".

It completely ruins the game. Compeltely. I don't feel like I'm playing, I feel like I'm just doing what Midna tells me to do. And it sucks.

And it doesn't help that later in the game she becomes the main character, challenging Zant and Ganondorf herself and making you fight her battles. Seriously, what happened to Link off on an adventure to save Hyrule just becaus ehe was a selfless hero?

In short, Midna is a *****, and I wish she was never in the game.

Thoughts?

1. Midna tells you to get the Fused Shadows so you can defeat the Twilight

2. The evil plaguing your lands turns out to be Zant, who has been megapowered- up by Ganondorf, so Ganondorf is the true evil.

3. Link defeats Zant, [B]without the fused shadows[/B], and then Ganondorf ends up defeating Midna, who had been using the full power of the fused shadows, and then he destroys the Fused Shadows.

4. Link, with the Master Sword, ends up killing Ganondorf.

5. I'm left wondering why the **** we needed the fused shadows in the first place if the Master Sword could defeat Ganondorf, who could defeat the fused shadows. Stupid Midna.

Aside from Midna being the one who finished Zant off WITH th Fused Shadow, destroy the barrier over Hyrule Castle, and purge Ganondorf from Zelda's body, half of what you're ragging on are either wrong or only half-truths. Biggest reason being that no one was even aware of Ganon's existence until part way through the game.

You can easly ignore navi in OoT. only in da beginning is she a Ass.
Midna is such a *****!

I perfer Navi over midna, But hell, it isnt very hard to ignore them both. I did. But still navi was a bit less anoying. not much. But Navi's advice was there if you wanted it. And she hinted you.
Like , Midna tells you what to do.

For example, like in OOT there were blocks that vanished when you stood in front of them and played The Song of Time. Navi let you know that the pattern looks like the one in the temple of time. Midna would have said "link......play The Song of Time and this might disappear"

I don't dislike midna. Infact i really didn't care. I am just letting you know what i noticed. But if you think it ruined the game, then you are not a very good zelda fan.

Midna didn't know about Ganondorf anymore than the rest of the whole friggin cast save for Zant.

The fused shadows were needed by Midna to stop Zant, she didn't know he had Ganondorf's power.

You do know Zelda games require a certain level of reading comprehension to understand, correct?

Personally, I liked KoRL and Ezlo, because neither of them were handholders, but still retained personality.
