Re: Favorite Dungeon in Twilight Princess?

I liked Arbiter's Grounds, mainly because of the Spinner puzzles, and the fact that my favorite Miniboss resides there.

Goron Mines, City in the Sky, and Snowpoint Temple would be some runner-ups.

Palace of Twilight was spooky to say the least
But it was fun despite it's odd nature.

The girl in the concept art is the living/spiritual incarnation of the Master Sword. She will change between Sword and human at her own will at first, aiding you with tips, etc. (like Midna) in her human form, and then obviously being your sword in, well, sword form. Later in the game you will get the ability to change her between her forms by yourself.

Re: Favorite Dungeon in Twilight Princess?

Definetly the Temple of Time!!! It had spooky music, like something huge was walking on the floor above you, it's item was awesome, the boss was epic, the statue was cool, and the dungeon was overall FUN!

My LEAST favorite was the City in the Sky. It was boring, the music was SO FREAKIN' ANNOYING, the it was hard to navigate, and the Ooca were just weird! I have to giveprops to the Boss and Double Clawshots, though.

Re: Favorite Dungeon in Twilight Princess?

All of them were amazing. I even enjoyed the forest temple and I usually hate first temples. But my favorite has to be either Snowpeak or Arbitor's Grounds.... I'd have to go with Arbitor's Grounds just for the spinner, Stallord, and sages.

That music was freaky
Wasn't that the place where it played the noise that sounded just like a door was opening? Because I know that noise and it sounded just like it. It was freaky!

I love the Snowpeak Ruins. It's a fun dungeon, and I got surprised when the Yeti woman was the boss. So yeah, it was a fun boss battle.
And a mini-game. It just adds up to its awesomeness.

Re: Favorite Dungeon in Twilight Princess?

I would say the goron mines, if not for the horribly slow walking on the ceiling, and the "CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK" sound that your iron boots make.

If the cave of ordeals counts, then that's what I pick. I just wish it was done with a little more flashiness or something, like turning it into a colluseum or something, instead of a series of caves. Maybe throw in an enemy that you can't encounter outside the cave of ordeals in there too.

Since I don't really count the cave of ordeals as a dungeon, especially since it's 100 percent optional in this one, I guess I'm going to go with Snowpeak ruins.

Arbiter's Grounds for me. Loved that place for some reason. However the first time I played through I was a little creeped out playing alone in the dark. xD Lakebed Temple is a close runnerup. For some reason I think my choices are the opposite of everyone elses. =\

No doubt... Palace Of Twilight was good. I'm stuck between that and City in the Sky. Both were amazing ideas.

goron mines after you got the bow and arrow i liked pretending to snipe them (without the hawk eye thing) with the bow and the room before the boss

Re: Favorite Dungeon in Twilight Princess?

The Forest Temple. On every play through I always found this dungeon to have the most atmosphere. Arbiter's Grounds, Goron Mines, Lakebed Temple come close. CitS - huge dissapointment but the double clawshot was VERY good. Palace of Twilight, Hyrule Castle bit of a failure. Snowpeak ruins was also very very good. Overall the dungeons were all very good but the last 3 disappointed in too many ways for any forgiveness.

That would be the temple of time. Arbiter's grounds and lakebed temple had the best boss fights, but temple of time was the best dungeon.

Re: Favorite Dungeon in Twilight Princess?

Arbiter's Grounds followed by Goron Mines.

They both have an interesting set-up, as well as mini-bosses/bosses that are interesting and fun (Stallord, that big fat Goron dude). Iron boots were very well done in the Goron Mines. Spinner was amazingly well pulled off in the Stallord battle.

Re: Favorite Dungeon in Twilight Princess?

I found it hard to choose between Arbiter's Grounds, the Temple of Time, and the Goron Mines, but in the end, I had to settle for the Goron Mines. I love fire dungeons, for some reason.

Re: Favorite Dungeon in Twilight Princess?

From the poll, it looks like Arbiter's Grounds and Temple of Time are the favorites with 9 votes, City in the Sky a close second with 7 votes, and Snowpeak Ruins seeing some love with 5 votes. Cave of Ordeals, Goron Mines, and Lakebed Temple each have some fans with 2 votes, and in last place with 1 vote each are Forest Temple, Hyrule Castle, and Palace of Twilight.

Temple of Time, no contest.

I loved having a statue following me around through half the dungeon. I named him Peter.

I've decided to make this in to a tournament!

Since Temple of Time, Arbiter's Grounds, City in the Sky, and Snowpeak Ruins are the clear favorites here, I'm going to move them onto round 2. In round 2 you vote for your favorite out of those 4. The top two move on to the final round. enjoy!

Temple of Time. Loved the use of the arrows and the Dominion Rod. I was so mad when the Rod lost it's power, but quickly regained it as I did my happiness. The Armogohma boss was definately fun. (and easy) Link's face when he realizes it isn't dead is priceless.
(whoops, just noticed the link to the "Round 2 thread")
(GO TEMPLE OF TIME!)
