Wind Waker Limited Edition for GameCube
I just wondered, do any of you have a clue about how many of these were made, I mean, how many did they produce of this particular game?
![]() The game I'm talking about is the Wind Waker game with OoT and OoT Master Quest included, I feel it's pretty rare, but I don't know, and that's where I hoped you fellow Zelda-fans could help me ![]() And if you know, would you please tell how many were shipped (originally, not the ones bought after the release on the bay or something), to Europe, and also particularly Norway ![]() The game is also marked "10/10" on the upper right corner of the box, and the box is made out of gold-coloured plastic ![]() |

Re: Wind Waker Limited Edition for GameCube
This was a pre-ordered game of The Wind Waker. So I'm sorry if you can't get it.

Considering it's pre-order, probably rare.

Re: Wind Waker Limited Edition for GameCube
OK, ppl
![]() That's fun ![]() But I was just wondering, does it drop in price, when it's scribbled on one row of the notes in the instruction manual, which I removed using what you normally use to erase pen-written text? Should I try getting another one, because of the scribble om this one? The game works, it's very near MINT, but I disliked the scribbling on the notes-pages of the manual ![]() Anyways, know it doesn't belong here, but the Zelda - Collector's Edition, the one with 4 games in it, I have a chance at getting one of them as well ![]() So, is that also rare? I mean, I think that too was a pre-order? Does anyone know? ![]() |

Re: Wind Waker Limited Edition for GameCube
It wasn't a pre-order thing in Europe I don't think. I have the edition and I don't think I pre-ordered it.

Re: Wind Waker Limited Edition for GameCube
I heard that, for a time, you could just buy OoT/MQ from Nintendo's website. Should that be true, it's probably not so incredibly rare.
I just bought mine used at GameStop, before I stopped doing that. (Used is ok, GameStop used is bad.) |

Re: Wind Waker Limited Edition for GameCube
OK, but it's not the same thing to buy along with another game, or in the case you mentioned, buy lonely OoT and OoT MQ from Nintendo, I would say that it doesn't really look the same. I thought that maybe OoT MQ along with WW was a bit rarer than the OoT and OoT MQ single disk
![]() But I don't know, that's why I'm asking ![]() |

Re: Wind Waker Limited Edition for GameCube
well, it says 'limited edition' on the front and comes with Master Quest and Ocarina, but I never pre-order anything. I've never seen another boxart available here though.

![]() I may also thought that it came along as a bundle with maybe a GameCube or if you bought one or more games for the GameCube, for a limited time? That mean that it over a limited time was kinda usual, but when that time was gone, and the game was out from the ones whoever were selling it, it became more rare end more wanted, because the original chance to get it disappeared, and then it became a collector's item? |

Re: Wind Waker Limited Edition for GameCube
It really isn't that rare at all, to be honest. Well, certainly not in the UK! I remember when I pre-ordered the game so that I could get this so-called 'limited edition', but they were selling that version almost everywhere here long after the release.
So yeah, I'd say quite a few copies were made. ![]()

Re: Wind Waker Limited Edition for GameCube
The OP didn't say there was.
Edit: Oh, yes he did. You're right, a disc that contains all three games doesn't even exist. :/

Re: Wind Waker Limited Edition for GameCube
What I ment in the beginning here, were that WW and OoT and OoT: MQ came in the same casing, but on two different disks
![]() I suppose that the one disk with OoT and OoT: MQ, is the same as they sell in a casing with only these two games, meaning that it maybe rarer to see the WW limited Edition, than just the two games alone, which supposingly could be bought at Nintendos site or something ![]() That would say, that the game I now own, is quite limited afterall, which means that, at least here in Norway, it's kinda rare ![]() |
