Twilight Princess final fight? (spoilers)

I dusted off my copy of TP today and decided to have a go at fighting ganondorf. Getting to the tower was a real pain as I had to remember my special path for the falling blocks room and remember how to jump with the spinner! lol. I reach ganondorf, beat zelda without taking a single hit, took down ganon while taking only a couple of clumsy ones. Then we reach the horseback fight. I did what I remember always doing and trying to get behind him. I couldn't do it and he completely kicked my ass because I couldn't remember the procedure of starting to chase him. I did it eventually and completely kicked his ass from then on in because I constantly chased him. Does anyone here think that stopping ganondorf from chasing you then turning round and chasing him is some kind of trick or total luck??

I need to know how you possibly could have any trouble beating Ganondorf....

I usually have no trouble at all but, I hadn't played TP in MONTHS. I forgot half the controls so what do you expect really?? Besides, I beat him but took an abnormal amount of hits.

I think the idea is to chase him.

Also, in the falling blocks room, if you're a wolf using your senses you can see ghost guys pointing the way

It is but every time I tried, I ended up on the ground. I was asking him how you START chasing him. I already knew about the ghost guys but I have a quick route I made as human link which makes you have to grab a ledge but nothing major.

What I always do is when he is standing still(or rather staying still on his horse) I go up to him(obviously, everyone does that, right?) til he begins racing toward ME to get behind me or whatever, then I make a very quick sharp turn ("u-turn") while he comes toward me, that way, I always end up a foot behind him, chasing him. Maybe this is how YOU eventually do it too? But yeah, I guess it could be some sort of a trick to do that correctly. Especially if it's someone's first time. It is, in my opinion, the "hardest" part of all 4 steps in the end battle, although the whole thing is rather easy.

that is how you beat him.
takes a few run by yous, and then its simple.

The final battle was a challenging button masher. Not extreme difficult, but difficult enough that my fingers were aching a bit.

I just remembered how much I loved the final battle(s) of Twilight Princess!! I mean, they aren't that hard, but it is still really fun, and some cool stuff. You fight Ganon on HORSEBACK!! And you can make things harder sometimes, which I try to do a lot...

To win the final fight of TP:

Just spam the backslice, and when you feel he's getting smarter, give it a small break and start again after a while.

From what I can remember, there is a lot of hitting him involved... If you're that stuck, just used a guide or something...

It is 3 years old, you know?

I agree the horseback bit is the hardest, all I do is stay behind him but I'm not too close because he might summon those ghost guys, so I just stay back and aim at him from there.
