Point of magic armor
I am replaying TP and never got the magic armor the other couple of times I played. Is it even useful at all and what is the best way to get it?

It helps you get the piece of heart that you need when you give the Goron the hot spring water.

Re: Point of magic armor
And thats about the only use for it, because it basically is a useless item. I have had no need to use it at all during the whole game.

Re: Point of magic armor
You have to get it by finishing the price for that modified shop in Castle Town and then it'll only be 100 rupees. But, the piece of heart is the only use, yes. It is a waste to wear it when unnecessary because you'll drain your rupees for nothing.

Re: Point of magic armor
It was actually put there by Nintendo to see if they could garner the same responses as those invisible mice. You know you remember the topics on GameFAQs.

Re: Point of magic armor
It's pretty useless, but it certainly comes in handy in the Cave of Ordeals.
And I also used it against the miniboss at Snowpeak Ruins...(God, I hated that temple. What were they thinking not having any hearts except in the boss room?)

You don't mean you actually needed to heal beyond downing a bottle of soup, do you?

Try playing most of that dungeon with the Zora Armor... It took me the longest time to realize why I kept on dying.

Also the ****ing ice shard guys who I couldn't hit even after locking onto them because I kept sliding. And the spear-throwing guys who kept hurting me before I could crush them with the Ball & Chain...Especially that one in the entrance room when you swing across the chandlier.

In fact, Bomb Arrows are oh so handy for killing several enemies with just one or two shots. Redeads and Stalfos being two of them.
