Which Zant battle did you enjoy the most?

Which one did you like the best? I liked the final sword fight, because it let you take him on, one-against-one, without any magic powers. It was kind of his own battle, whereas the others were just copies of previous bosses. He wasn't too hard, but it was a cool finale to Zant.

The Sword Fight is naturally the best. It has the best music, and it's very fun. I don't know what it was, but it was one of the funnest moments in the game for me.

I liked all of them except for the underwater stage. If I had to pick a favorite though, it would be the final swordfight, just because it had the best music, it was the longest, and the most difficult.

I was surprised how weak Zant was. If I could talk, after I defeated him and said he could go on forever, I would have chimed in and said so can I. I suffered no damage during the fight. He was also the most enjoyable battle even over Ganon.

But favorite phase? I can't decide.

Each form alone doesn't really stand out, but if you put them all together, then you have quite a battle. I just wish this battle could have omitted the Ook phase and put in a phase relating to one of the main bosses, say Argorok (Zant flies on a gaint dragon anyone?).

Zant, the big mighty badass, the guy behind the Twilight, the supposed main bad guy...And what's his main attack? Tiny little pink blasts that barely hurt you.

His sword fighting was even worst with all his chicken noises. Nintendo ruined his character something awful.

Zant was disappointing.

The final sword fighting stage. I thought it wrapped it up nicely. He was whizzing you along different stages to perform wierd battles, and then finally you fight him man to man, just swords and his crazy vanishing powers.

I agree that the battle in itself, while pretty fun, was disappointing in its difficulty- but then again, aren't all Zelda bosses kind of lame?

As for Nintendo ruining his character, I have to disagree. Sure, they may have portrayed him as a badass when he appeared in Lanayru Springs, or before the Stallord fight, but Nintendo intended to make someone who had gone mad with power. He was just a regular magic user, already pretty pissed off, then the overwhelming power of a god got in him. I wouldn't be able to handle that and keep my sanity if it were me. I think Nintendo made him a well-developed character.

I really can't decide. Either the Monkey on Pole Phase or the Ice Stage..seeing him hopping around and holding his foot makes me laugh every time. I suppose hilarious is not something a major boss should aspire too, but it happened.

That's right. They needed one for Stallord, Armogohma, and Argarok. O don't see why you can't have a giant Zant Mask for Stallord, him crawling on the ceiling for Armogohma, and a Giant Zant levitating for Argorok.

This man speaks the truth! That's exactly what I say to people who ***** about how Nintendo 'ruined' Zants character. HE WAS MAD. That was the point of his character. The only reason why he was quiet and looked all cool after the water temple and such is because he had it all bottled up. Imagine when someone is upset, but they keep on going, but then when they talk about it, they start crying, it all comes pouring out. Considering the boss battle was the first time Zant told of his ordeal to anybody, it made sense that this triggered his craziness.

I liked the Morpheel batle but, the Blizzedabattle better because you can hit Zants foot with the ball and chain and he jumps around.

So true about Zant being a great character. I might have quickly forgotten some "badass" (generic) video game villains but not someone like Zant. Although, I wasn't expecting the unmasked-Zant to look like that...(was expecting a handsome devil ..lol)

Favorite stage, last one of course, this was the stage where the magic armour was put to good use. Also, I like it how whenever you hit him twice in each stage he just quietly floats in the air and summons a new arena, it's almost like he's fuming but trying to keep it in. Altogether, the Zant boss battle was my favorite in the entire game.

The sword battle was extremely fun and action packed. I loved the concept around the whole battle. Zant was probably my 2nd or 3rd favourite boss.

Zant was fun to battle, unfortnately way to easy to defeat.

I quite enjoyed the Morpheel and Blizetta battle with Zant. Not only were they fun, but I think that the music in the Blizetta fight kicked a55! Zant was in general, a fun boss, but like all the bosses in Twilight Princess, he was too easy, which in all honesty, I think let the game down a lot.

The "Samurai Phase" was my favourite. That was just wicked fighting that pathetic loser, I couldn't stop laughing.

I hope the humour in it was intentional...

Definitely the sword phrase because he was offensive always trying to kill you, and at the same time he looked like if he has never used a sword in his life XD. It was fun and funny

Blizzeta's phrase come as a close second though, I never get tired of the cool background music.

Well if I had to choose 1 it would be the sword fite at the end, but to be honest none were great, thas just because nintendo sorta reck Zant at the end, i wanted to see the Zant like after you completed the water temple, then he was cool, dark and scary, a true villain. At the end he was a psycotic moron, o well the game bounced back very well with the ganon stages of battle.

Ganon stages.............. pure genius
