His sword fighting was even worst with all his chicken noises. Nintendo ruined his character something awful.

I agree that the battle in itself, while pretty fun, was disappointing in its difficulty- but then again, aren't all Zelda bosses kind of lame?
As for Nintendo ruining his character, I have to disagree. Sure, they may have portrayed him as a badass when he appeared in Lanayru Springs, or before the Stallord fight, but Nintendo intended to make someone who had gone mad with power. He was just a regular magic user, already pretty pissed off, then the overwhelming power of a god got in him. I wouldn't be able to handle that and keep my sanity if it were me. I think Nintendo made him a well-developed character.
