TP Easter egg extravaganza II!

Hello and welcome to the TP Easter egg extravaganza II! Many of you saw the precursor to this thread and as you remember it grew exponentially. It eventually became quite a hassle to look through 37 pages of post so I had the thread closed down with intentions of making a sequel, and here it is!

Much like the previous thread this threads main purpose is to search out Easter eggs A.K.A. EE’s. If you’re new to this concept of EE’s it’s pretty simple: EE’s are small things in games that are left behind by designers on purpose so gamers can find them and get a good laugh. They usually have a connection to a previous game in the series or just the company in general. However some people easily mistake glitches and editing flaws as EE’s too, yet there is a difference since EE’s are intentionally made and placed in games.

But there is a slight difference between this thread and the last one made. The last thread was restricted to just EE’s alone, while this thread has expanded the idea a bit further…
We will now start accepting trick/glitches and details as well to help satisfy the public demand.

NOTE: This thread is different from ZeldaGamer21’s thread in that we accept and appreciate new details from posters. ZeldaGamer21 has clearly stated that his thread is specifically to show all the details “he found" and not others. This thread gives the freedom to all posters to show the tiny details they found themselves and if it's significant enough it will be added to the master list.

1.Midna hums her theme in a cutscene when you enter the Twilight version Faron woods. Reported by Kee Something

2. There is a Bullet Bill on a Fyers shirt. Reported by Kee Something

3. Songs from Oot and MM are back in action, like the song of healing. Reported by FierceDeity

4. Zant has an altered form of the Gerudo-esque on his chest. Reported by: Oni Swordsman

5. The Fisherman From Oot is in a picture with Links Hylian loach (glory thief) Reported by cnoren

6. A doll kind of resembles the snot nosed kid from TWW in Talo and Malos home. Reported by zelda may cry

7. Music from Oot water temple is found in the Fortune tellers hut. Reported by hippiecrite

8. The wrighting on the metal door leading to the Temple of Time traslates to: Time Door The archway: Mastersword, Copyrod, Stone Statue, Sanctuary The pedistal: Mastersword (go figure) Reported by FierceDeity

9. Malo & Talos names are a parody to Malon & Talon from Oot as well as Marin and Tarin from LA. Reported by FierceDeity

10. Postman makes the "you found something" chime. Reported by Skar

11. The Triforce emblem on the flag outside Links house has the symbol of a tree on it, this tree is most likely a symbol for forest which in the Zelda series stands for Farore (Triforce of Courage). Reported by ArchsageX

12. Dodongos can istantley be killed with the classic bomb swallowing method. Reported by Magic-Tech

13. Bottles can reflect enegry spheres from Zelda, this is a classic EE that has been found in multiple Zelda titles such as Oot and TWW. Reported by ArchsageX

14. Agitha calls Link "Grasshopper" when she receives a grasshopper from Link. This is parody of Romani calling Link "Grasshopper" in MM. Reported by Puck

15. A Goron in Hyrule town says: "It's a secret to everyone". This is a parody from the orginal LoZ where a Moblin in a hideout gives you rupees and say: "It's a secret to everyone". Reported by Klew

16. Prince Ralis tells you to go to "Mother and child rock" to get the reekfish. This is a spoof of "Mother and Child isles" in TWW. Reported by Sun Guardian

17. The cut scene with Ganondorf brakeing his chains has a remixed version of the Oot "Castle escape music". Reported by Mirren

18. If a yellow and blue chu chu combine it'll turn into a green chu chu. This in turn makes green chu potion, which probably would have fueled a Magic meter for TP. Unfortunately the Magic meter was removed from the game so the green chu chu was left behind as game scraps and serves no real purpose. Reported by Linker

19. If you take a close look at the howling stone with the Triforce on it (sacred grove) you'll see that it has faint markings of the Oot medalions on it. Fire, water, and forest; each representing a part of the triforce. Reported by ZeldaGamer21

20. The Ooccoa race bare a striking resemblance to the creatures in M.C. Escher's painting "Other World". Reported by NoCanDo

21. The night sky in TP is an accurate representation of the real night sky, constellations such as Orion and Cassiopeia can be seen clearly. The odd thing aabout this is that the stars stand still while the moon moves through the sky. Reported by NoCanDo

22. A fire flower from the Mario series can be found on Gor Coron's back. Reported by ZeldaGamer21

23. Telma has a small cat named Louise. The odd thing about this is that there was a movie called Thelma and Louise, a possible parody to the names. Reported by Hyperbadox

24. The Light Medallion from Oot can be seen throughout the Temple of Time. Reported by ArchsageX

25. The three girls outside the Circus Star mini game have the same hair color as Din, Nayru, and Farore. Reported by: Pending

26. Henas shop has a book called: The Legend of the Hylain Loach: Twilight Fish. Reported by Johnny K.

27. If a Cucco is hit with a weapon enough times (save the golden cucco) Link will be able to take control of the Cucco for about 8 seconds. Reported by: Pending

28. OOCCOO is the HTML code for a shade of green. This very same same color was used in LoZ for Link's tunic. Reported by Kee Something


And when the fortune teller chants for your carrer she says:

"tuoba gniklat... I ma tahw"


Which spelled backwards says:

"What am I... talking about"



And when she chants for your love she says:

elihwa sekat gnidaol... tiaw

I have something to add:

When Shad, Auru, Ashei, and Rusl come to save you in Hyrule Castle right before the Big Key, a part of the song "Farewell Hyrule King" from Wind Waker begins to play.

The chudleys emplorium before it becomes Malo Mart has a slower, fancier remix of the normal shop.

I thought I had a great EE at first but it turned out the wrong way. When I looked back to the Pokemon red and blue games I remember Agatha of the Elite four. My memory was foggy and I thought she specialized in bug pokemon. Then I remembered Agitha collected bugs in TP and I thought I was onto something. Then I remember Agatha specialized in Ghost/poison pokemon and that threw my whole theory down the drain. *sigh*

I'm just hopeing most EE's will be connections by names. You'd be surprised by all the name similarities.

I'd just like to say, EE's 4 and 11 aren't EE's. 4 is way too obvious to be considered an EE, and 11 is false. The triangle is "split" into more than eight sections, and is just a traingle with a tree in the middle of it, and doesn't represent the eight shards thing.

1. The three girls outside of the STAR minigame tent are red, green and blue - just like the three godesses.

2. Kind of obvious, but the three major provinces are named after the goddesses - ElDIN, LaNAYRU, FAROn.

3. Yeta has a picture of Ganondorf from OoT in her room.

4. Jovani has a picture of George Washington in his house.

2 more EE that i discovered and posted in the last EE thread but wern't listed are

1. The doors inside the first three Temples in TP (Forest, Goron, Lakebed) have symbols which resemble the three Spiritual Stones

2. The music which plays when you get the Zora Armour is the Serenade of Water remixed.

I don't know if this has been posted before, but the music you hear when the postman comes toward you is similar to the Dragon Roost island theme from the Wind Waker.

If someone has never played a Zelda game before and they see the mailman they're not going to give it a second thought. People that have played Zelda for awhile will reconize it and understand that it's a EE. It's the same as the old doctor in Oot and the doctor in TP.

As for the split Tri-force... I'll just say the tree represent forest and forest represnts the triforce of courage. There... Everyones happy now.

I'm very intrigued about these pictures you all speak of. I'll have to take a look at these paintings.

Ganondorf tells Zant exactly what the Triforce of Power told him in the ALTTP manual.

Use the spin attack when Zant uses his and Zant will fly back and stop. Easy win.

-The music during the second half of the Stallord fight a faster, remixed version of the music when you fight King Dodongo and the boss in Jabu Jabu's belly (forgot the name)

-The sound that the Dominion Rod makes as you swing it, the ball of light goes forward, then comes back are the three notes in Zelda's Lullaby (or maybe I'm just on crack)

It doesn't mean much, but the second part of the Snowpeak Ruin's boss's music is Ganondorf's theme remixed. ^_^; (You can hear the theme at the beginning at least.)

There's a picture of the Sky Temple in Snowpeak Ruins as well.

oh, you probably seen this, but in the Hena's house. there is a picture of the fisherman in OOt, and she tells you, she wanted to live in that era. and that she hope she is a decendant of the master fisher...

anyway. about music, there are some ocarina songs from OOt and MM. like song of healing, prelude of light, zelda's lullaby and others when Link's howls..

Haha, I went looking for it today. It sorta looked like GW. It was kinda blurry.

Look at the Lon Lon ranch folks and look at their clothings. Can you see bowser? Cool huh.
