It's not a gold Master Sword. The hilt of his sword shaped bookmark is shaped like an Oocca, with the end of the handle being the Oocca head and the hilt guard being the wings. You can see close up images of the bookmark in my TP Little Details thread.

The Only thing I can think of as an answer to that question is: It just is. It's a detail added by the programers for the user to find which is one definition of an Easter Egg.

I never did call the postman an EE? How does this have anything to do with it?

Yeah, you should. The "Easter Eggs" here seem to be only details. The Cucco thing is not a

detail, thus placing it in the category of Easter Egg.

-On a bookcase in Link's House, there is a picture of Epona.
-In Sera's Sundries, there is a picture of her cat and a picture of Beth.
-In Rusl and Uli's house, there is a rocking horse with one eye.

Re: TP Easter egg extravaganza II!

Just to let you guys know, Easter Eggs usually have something to do with gameplay. "Details" are things like what Oni Swordsman listed above. No offense, Oni, but it just made a good example.

Nice details, those types of pictures can be found all over Hyrule, a nice job by Nintendo. But I like the full scale paintings more. ~sigh~ If only they were more clear.

I concur fully, there should be a definition for EE's. What truly separates an EE from a detail?

Easter Eggs are playable. They have been added by the creator of the game into the game. Some of them are not always meant to be found, like the bloody M in Halo, and some are meant to be found like the Cuccoo Easter Egg in Twilight Princess. Twilight Princess honestly doesn't have many Easter Eggs at all. It has some, but not many.

Little details are interesting things like Mother and Childs Rock and various pictures in houses. They don't add anything to the game play but perhaps give some insight into the game, are funny, or any various things.

There's a definition for ya.

Thank you, hopefully this will help bring better understanding to future post. I personally like this definition, maybe someone should add this to Wikipedia.

Re: TP Easter egg extravaganza II!

A lot of what Oni Swordman lists are details. If you see a book on the floor in the castle and it says "Guide to Twilight Princess", than that is an EE. But if you see a picture of Epona, that isn't a EE. It's just a detail of Link taking a picture of Epona (Don't know where he got a camera though)

Re: TP Easter egg extravaganza II!

I would like to add that in the Mirror Chamber, the Sages there have the 6 Medalions from OOT on the front of their robes. I didn't see that one on the list. The Medalions are also on the towers that they stand on surrounding the mirror.

Re: TP Easter egg extravaganza II!

It was meant to be the sages. They all had the symbol on them, because those are the symbols of the Sages, not the Medalions.

Those symbols naturally represent the 6 sages, it's not an EE but a detail. As Johnny K. said the medallions represented the sages not the other way around.

None taken. Heck, I wouldn't say it offended me to a mod! Anyways, I really don't get the way you put the definition of an EE.

And if this isn't an EE, don't reply to this post, as it will probably start an argument. There is a Shiekah symbol on the Howling stones, except the one in the Sacred grove. It has a Triforce there.

Re: TP Easter egg extravaganza II!

I wouldn't call this a EE officially, but more like a possible EE. In the Hyrule Town shop, the snobby rich one, not Malo Mart there are two paintings on the walls. One is of some sorta large structure in the middle of a lake, and the other of a mansion in the middle of a large green field covered in flowers.
