Twilight Princess Oddities *BIG SPOILERS*

Since there was a Twilight Princess Easter Eggs thread, i thought i'd make an "Oddities" one where you post things that seem odd to you. It can range from anything from the beginning to the very end.

Here's my oddities:

You know how Midna won't let you turn into a wolf/human or warp if you're around people? Well, i went into Castle Market Town as Wolf Link and after scaring everyone including 20 guards (Just stick around Castle Square long enough) for a while, i decided to turn into Human Link. Midna stops me by saying it might cause an uproar. So i decide to warp out and Midna lets me do so.

I then mess around in Kakariko, throwing Cuccos everywhere. Then i got the cucco and myself close to the Death Mountain entrance and i decide to turn into human Link. What suprised me was that Midna sad: "You'll scare somebody if you transform!" I thought: "Who am i gonna scare? The cucco?"

Midna has strict and odd rules about when and where to transform. I guess in her book, no one, not even a cucco can be around in order for you to transform

Another very strange one came. Remember that lava pillar thing you had to warp to Zora's Domain? Well, there was a goron there, so i blow up the rock with some water bombs and the goron not only stands down and begins to talk underwater, he/she/it seems to show no signs of troubled breathing! Now, remember back in MM if you plunged into the water as Goron Link, it was like an instant KO, yet this goron can survive standing underwater like it's no trouble at all! He just goes: "I like a cold spring too!" when he's underwater!

The Midna one was strange, but what was even stranger was that Goron one! What? Did he obtained some sort of item that we don't know about (besides the Zora Armor) that allowed him to breath and stand up in the water?

Haha that goron thing is funny. There is actually a little goron "kid" in the hot spring near death mountain that is practicing holding his breath underwater and he says "I never feel the need to breath" or something odd like that. He DOES have a volcano type thing on his head that he might be using to breath, but if he can't breath with it (not that we'll ever know since it's just a game) I guess gorons don't need to breath after all! Or at least underwater

What about this theory; gorons can breath underwater but in MM you cant breathe underwater because you still got some humanity when you transform into goron, zora og deku.

My thoughts exactly! That was very confusing and sort of twisted my theories about WW gorons too. I always thought that Goron never survived to the days of WW because they couldn't swim and therefore drowned. But now it appears that there's an odd contradiction here.

If I tried hard to be reasonable, and pretend that Goron can breath underwater but can't swim they possibly could've survived to the days of WW, but they just weren't able to swim to the surface (except those couple of mercenary fellas that propably climbed up to the mountains or something).
Of course, your theory about zora suit for Goron could explain pretty much, but in a realistic-wannabe game like TP, why isn't he wearing one so that everyone could see?

Oh well, skip the theories, staff behind the game propably laughed their heads off when putting this wtf-goron incident in the game. Supposingly this should be take as a weird joke but I can't help it, it's confusing o,ó

Funny thing about that, If Nintendo did really have a timeline, then this means that since the time of MM to the time of TP Gorons learned to swim underwater right? I highly doubt it since in tWW, we see literally three or four Goron merchants. What happened to the rest of the Gorons? Do they live underwater with the rest of the gang? Do they live with the Zoras which in fact cannot be the Rito? As you can see Nintendo came up with a new game to controdict itself once more again.

well mine would have to be when you go in Hyrule Castle Town and your wolf link and your messing around causing trouble and what not..then all the guards come running and surrounding you. if you use midna's thingy (where you can attack multiple enemys at once) then release it and you spin, all the guards will go running and arrows or a heart will be laying on the ground. its cool.

I had a thread about the Goron and about that topic before. It should still b open but im too lazy to go look for it. One oddity I found was that the girl at the fishing hole might have a crush on Link. Go zoom in on hr picture in the fishing hut 2-3 times and watch. Link is quiet the ladies-man in this game.

Seeing as how Hena hasn't even hit puberty, in that case Link is quite the pedophile.

Have any of you noticed that if you're wolf Link without Midna her shadow will still appear?
And perhaps the Gorons evolved to live in water after more time spent at hot springs? Because I remember a sign in Majoras mask warning Gorons not to get too clos to the water, so it must have been a danger to them at that stage.

well, in tWW, under the sea, we find Ganons tower in the mountains, we can presume it to be death moutian because you pass over a large canyon in both tWW and TP to reach deathmountain, so we can assume that when Ganon came back after his death in TP, he completly destroyed the Gorons, sans a few merchants.... the merchants that we find in Hyrule castle town

It is not the Cucco. That little boy...I can't remember his name at the moment be he is at the highest point in Kakariko watching everything and just under him is a Goron helping. He will scream for everyone to run if he sees you. Oh, I transformed multiple times in from of cats.

Ah yes. Thanks. I wasn't considering the fact that Talo was up there watching the area. I just thought Midna didn't want me to scare a chicken.
