Re: Favourite Dungeon
So, the Arbiter's Grounds is a Forest Temple rip-off because it reuses poes? Yeah, because you know everything else about them are so similar...
Right now it's really hard for me to choose a favorite. I found Lakebed to be the most beautiful, with the shell, coral and crystal structuring, however, I enjoyed places like the Arbiter's Grounds, Snowpeak, and the City in the Sky more. The Arbiter's Grounds backstory was pretty cool, and the overall feel of the dungeon was creepy. Lots of cool enemies, some very nice puzzles, especially those involving the Spinner, and one of the best boss fights in the series. Snowpeak may be one of the most unique dungeons to date. I really liked the whole mansion design of it, and more so that Yeto and Yeta were inside. They were only a small detail, but it gave the place an odd feeling, since it was their home, but to Link, it was just another dangerous complex. Lots of good sequences in their, too, especially the boss and mini-boss. The City in the Sky had an awesome atmosphere, and since I always wanted to see a Zelda game have an aerial level, I was especially pleased with it. The Double Clawshot was such an amazing item, and the dungeon made you use it so much that you got to enjoy it on several occasions. The Winged Lizalfos were cool enemies, and Argorok made for one fantastic boss fight. I still have the Palace of Twilight and Hyrule Castle to finish, so maybe I'll be able to decide once I beat the game.

Re: Favourite Dungeon
I didn't say that the Arbiters Grounds was a rip-off of the Forest Temple, just that I was unhappy that they couldn't come up with a unique goal for the temple. I would agree though, that the poes and the flames were better suited to that temple then to the Forest Temple in OoT.

Re: Favourite Dungeon
Arbiter's Grounds. Fun tracking down and killing poes. Also, it helps you with other stuff(helping Yovanni). It's fun killing the big poe's. Like the last one that multiplyied himself. Easy but fun.

Re: Favourite Dungeon
Currently I'm in Temple of Time and it really feels a whole lot like the Tower of Gods...
My favorite is Snowpeak Ruins. I liked how it was a mansion, and it had the various rooms, yet some of it was all iced over... I love the ice and snow, and it actually looks pretty realistic in this game. (the wind blows the snow around, it falls realistically, and the flakes aren't half as big as they were in OOT.) Plus the weapon is fun to use, and the boss wasn't hard at all. I didn't like Arbriter's Grounds, but that may be because I get freaked out easily. XD I liked the weapon, though, and how it was used... reminded me of a roller coaster or something, and that made the boss battle really fun.

I absolutely love Snowpeak Ruins. It feels so isolated, yet almost welcoming just because of Yeto and Yeta. It's mysterious, fresh, and entertaining. The puzzles were fun and the boss was excellent. It also had the best dungeon music in the game. |

Re: Favourite Dungeon
I think Goron Mines. And yes, Fyrus was easy but I still thought he was a nice boss. For me atleast. And he looks cool taboot. The whole Iron boots was nice, and the Elders being in there was kinda cool in my opinion.
Argorok is still my favorite Boss battle though besides the last one.

Re: Favourite Dungeon
I lo-lo-loooved the Goron Mines! I had so much fun in it! It's one of those dungeons where it's not too hard, and you have a good time doing it. Plus, walking on the ceiling with the iron boots? SHAAA-SWEEEET! Dooood, heck YES to the Goron Mines.

Re: Favourite Dungeon
No matter what the game (whether it be Zelda, Donkey Kong, or Mario) water levels are always the hardest for me. I think it's harder to control a character when they're swimming. The gravity just isn't really there and it's hard to find my way around in all those tunnels and hidden spots.

Re: Favourite Dungeon
I have to say my favourites were the Temple Of Time (because it was...so zelda-ish) hehe.. I just loved how you entered the temple like you go through that door and suddenly you're in this old temple building and you put the sword back to get the stairway to appear.. ahh it was just so amazing. but yes, it was a lot like Tower Of The Gods, but who cares, that was my favourite dungeon in TWW.
My next favorite temple was Snowpeak Ruins, because it was so original! But the 2nd block puzzle annoyed the hell out of me, I couldn't do it, and all the solutions were written for the Wii (I have the GC version) So it took me about 40 minutes to do that puzzle! |

Re: Favourite Dungeon
Well, I'm about 30 hours in the game, And currently I have to gather the
"pieces of the ancient sky book". But, let's stay ontopic: Until now is the Temple of Time. Probably due the fact that I also loved the Tower Of The Gods from the WW. Only the Boss was easier than the Mini-boss. |

Re: Favourite Dungeon
Favorite: Temple of Time
-For me there is no contest between the other temples it was just so much fun especially the miniboss. The boss was easy but amsusing. There were some many enemies unlike the other dungeons. Instead of lame bulbins they have a crap load of lizalfos and dinalfos (I think tose are the guy with the axe and the shiny armor.) The dominion rod pwns all. But the best was the Darknut (which I beat in 1:13) Faron is proud of him self. Least Favorite: Lakebed Cavern (? maybe temple) -Well I dont care about the name becase I hated it the dungeon took me at least 7 hours. Obvious litlle things were so easy to get stuck on. But the boss was pretty cool. 2nd Favorite: Palace of Twilight - Sick temple. It was not a challanged at all but so,e how I would find my self with two hearts right before I fought Zant. It alspo had a very cool design and the Zants image minibosses were cool. I dont know what you people are talking about with the whole Forest Temple rip-off stuff becuase personally I hated Oot's forest temple.

Re: Favourite Dungeon
Palace of Twilight. Sure it was simple, but the fights, atmosphere, music, and finally, the boss just did a good job of entertaining me. Phantom Zant was cool, the wallmasters were freakish, the clouds of twilight and the multiple foes was awesome, and the floating platforms, doors that actually opened for you, and sols just rocked. It also felt neat to have the Master Sword get upgraded to the Ultimate Holy Power of the Sun (X2) Blade of Evil's Bane. Or, in other words, the Light Sword. The boss is also just fun.
As for least favorite, I don't care if Argorok could have destroyed over 80% of the place and made all of the paint burn off, the City in the Sky SUCKED! The second I got Oocca's letter asking me to visit, I was like "Oh hell no lady."

Re: Favourite Dungeon
After playing the snowpeak ruins, I don't know if my favourite has changed. The Goron Mines was extremely fun, but I did love the snowpeak ruins. I'm not a big fan of the city in the sky right now.
