Pima went all out for their Player's Guide to Twilight Princess-the book is hardcover with a beautiful gold-esque inlay of the Hylian Emblem, and it comes with a map of all Hyrule printed on cloth!

I'm not buying a guide (for now anyway), because I haven't started playing the game. Come on, you can beat the game by yourself. Believe in yourself.

I know, but I'm getting this just for the sake of the fact that it's pretty...(touches) Oooooooooo...

Even though I already beat the game; I'm getting that guide. Not for the help with side quests (because I've already beaten all of them), but for nostalgia. I was planning on getting it already, but this just makes me want it more.

I want to get a TP guide for the sake of nostalgia. The NP one looks very unextraordinary and bland. This on the other hand...

That guide is very nice. I went to best buy to see if they had it today, and no luck. I checked EB Games out as well and still nope! Hopefully they have it in over the next 2 days. I have a 25 dollar gift card at Best Buy and I'd like to buy this there since it's 10 extra bucks at EB Games (which has been over charging for a lot of things lately...).

That guide looks to me to be the essence of quality.

as long as it isnt the 'FUTURE PRESS' guide in fancy clothing,i have that one here in the UK,and its a really bad guide....some things are very vague,and also tell you to go and do stuff that you should know how to do,and some of the wolf tunes in the back of the guide are wrong

I picked up one of these. It is exactly the same as the gold guide except it doesn't have the fancy gold hard cover or cloth map. It does have a giant poster map instead. It is much more in depth than the nintendo players guide version but it is harder to read and follow. The pictures are little too small and the font makes it kind of tough to read. Its about twice as thick as the nintendo guide though.

i dont get why the guide says it tells where EVERY secret is. i just found the only silver rupee in the game that isnt given to you by a person. and it wasnt in their guide. pshh

I got mine earlier today while picking up my GCN version of TP. It looks pretty, and is immensley detailed, but it's hard to follow. This guide is so detailed it even tells you what you'll find in certain pots.

oohh, then i guess there are 3 silver rupees in the game

one for that rich guy
one in that chest
and one hidden in the Cave or Ordeals (which wasnt in the guide)

also, does anyone know how to get that one chest thats on that platform in the hyrule field area right in front of the castle market area?

they mention it on the bottom of page 204, but didnt tell me how to get it... unless its later on in the book, which would be impossible to find
