Re: Magic Armor

The rupees draining over time was a pretty stupid way to limit its use. Not only are you time limited, rupees are also lost when you get hit.

If the armour simply subtracted rupees per hit, I'd probably use it more. Plus, you could wear it as a substitute to the Hero's Clothes.

However, it's an optional extra. No one's forcing us to buy it or use it.

Re: Magic Armor

I thought it was pretty cool to do the whole sequence to get it, and I found the Magic Armour invaluable when I forgot to buy more potions or capture fairies.

Cave of Ordeals anyone?

I only felt awkward playing TP because I knew it was a GC game and not a true Wii effort. That just sat in the back of my mind the whole time, and I didn't feel totally comfortable...it was a great game and I loved every minute, but something did not feel right...

Re: Magic Armor

Well to be honest the only time I used it was in the Cave of Ordeals, and that was just so I could keep full health to use the Great Spin to get through it quickly.

It uses too much money too quickly, and the fact that it uses money even when you aren't being hit by an enemy is ridiculous...

Re: Magic Armor

I used in in the cave of ordeals to fight the 4 darknuts once. That was it. They should of either:
-made something completely different and cooler.
-if they had to keep it, implement a magic meter for it
-if they didn't want to do that, it should ONLY drain rupees when you're hit. Basically convert rupees into extra health. None of that draining all the time crap.

Re: Magic Armor

I think the Magic Armor is a waste of money. I have found out something -- If you stand still, it drains about 5 rupees for second, then if you step, it takes about 10 rupees.

It shuld have had use of the Magic Meter, hence the name Magic Armor.

Re: Magic Armor

I've merged all the existing Magic Armour threads together, as people are unfortunately far too lazty to be bothered to actually search for any pre-existing thread before creating a new thread, and we ended up with the seperate threads talking about the same thing.

It is hardly worth 590 Rupees cause i spent ages searching 4 enough money 4 it and wen i got it i hit myself cause wen u run out of Rupees ur horse throws u off and it is jus gay.

Did Nintendo create it 4 actual use of did they jus create it cause they couldn't think of anything else to make.

I really think it is gay and a waste of Money hav ur say

Question - Is the Magic Armor a waste of money?
- Yes
- No
- Havnt got it
- Havnt heard of it
How dare you use that word as a derogatory insult.
The ZU rules frown upon this.
Do not do it in the future.
Also - please attempt to use proper grammar and spelling.

Re: Magic Armor

i say i takes one rupee every 0.5 seconds, so 2 rupees per second, and 50 rupees per hit, its a waste of money? yes, but do you actually USE the money for something? i say no, the rupees are TOTALLY useless i TP, and they are very easy to find, they are everywhere, so why would you care if you lose rupees? life is more important than money...
