Re: Magic Armor

Since we're talking about poes (or were, at least), I don't think killing poes has ever been more satisfying. Seeing Wolf Link rip their souls out of their chests was just beyond awesome.

Re: Magic Armor

Hey guys, I freed Jovani a while ago, but all I get is 200 rupees every time I talk to his cat and then leave the town. From what I've seen, you never stop getting money, but you can run out.

I thought it was supposed to be infinite rupees? So you have to leave and come back to get 200 rupees every time?

Re: Magic Armor

He just gives you a silver rupee if you give him all the poe souls. You can then reenter his house and talk to Gengle (Jovani's cat) for another silver rupee and you can exit and reenter and repeat just like with the skulltula man from OOT. Afterwards, Jovani can be found sulking in the bar.

The magic armor drains about three rupees per second. A hit from a darknut will drain about twenty instantly. When your out of rupees your armor dulls in color, you walk like your wearing Iron boots, and you are no longer invincible.

Magic Armour Sucks!

I've never been this disappointed with an item on a zelda game beofor(except with the tingle tuner). Its totally usless, becuase its costs so much money even to walk around with it. I was looking forward to this item more than anything else, but as soon as I got it I couldn't use it. And in like 5 mins it wastes 1000 rupees. This is an item I would like never to come back in a zelda game(unless it didn't waste rupees). Anyone agree with me? Anyone disagree? If so explain why.

Edit: I just realized there is spoiler in my title, but it won't let me change it. I'm so sorry guys...

Re: Magic Armor

I only had the second wallet so I only had 2 ruppees after buying it,
so when I put it on it became all black and slow lol
I don't like using ruppees so ya I don't really like this item.

Re: Magic Armor

You realized this now?

But anyway, I figure that the previous shop owner rose his prices so high because he needed to keep the armor running. Maybe it was a curse or something.

Re: Magic Armor

I don't like it either. I was looking forward to walking around town and places with the armor but I can't even get from one end of Castle Town to the other without losing 500 rupees.

Re: Magic Armor

Just an interesting note, if you run out of rupees and kill Ganondorf with the depowered armour, then the credits depcit link in the inactive armour, complete with the slow-clanking sounds he makes.
It's odd to see him running to Midna at the end of the game at full speed, despite the lag of depowered armour! :XD

For a really shine stab scene with Ganondorf use the magic armor and take that fancy jelly that makes you glow.

Re: Magic Armor

I agree, the Magic Armor SUCKS! I only actually used it in the Cave of Ordeals, once durring the last room. I thought it'd be freakin awesome, buy it, and realize it sucks. It takes up WAY too much rupies. I think it should only take up rupies when you get hit. At least rupies are rediculously abundant in Twilight Princess.

You can also do it with the Iron Boots, there's a lot more clanking.

Exactly, which makes it all the more annoying. Practically everywhere you go they're throwing orange and purple rupees at you, and yet all of that gets wasted on that stupid armour. I mean to even get the biggest wallet you need to give Agitha all of the bugs, and by that stage you've already wasted the chance of saving up all the rupees she gives you.

Ah now, let's lay off the Tingle Tuner... It may have been practically useless, but using that Tuner I found the five gold statues that now sit proudly below Tingle Tower! I was well proud of myself, going to Tingle of my own free will and all...

Who agrees that the Magic Armor is a waste of money.

It is hardly worth 590 Rupees cause i spent ages searching 4 enough money 4 it and wen i got it i hit myself cause wen u run out of Rupees ur horse throws u off and it is jus gay.

Did Nintendo create it 4 actual use of did they jus create it cause they couldn't think of anything else to make.

I really think it is gay and a waste of Money hav ur say

Question - Is the Magic Armor a waste of money?
- Yes
- No
- Havnt got it
- Havnt heard of it

Re: Magic Armor

Yes the Magic Armor is a waste of time.
TP was going to have a magic meter in it, but was taken out at the last minute.
It would of been handy if it used Magic instead of Rupees.

Lots of things fell short in TP, which was really disappointing.
I really hope...Although I doubt it will happen. For Nintendo to make the ultimate Zelda game. Because TP fell through bigtime in certain areas.

It just made no sense to me!

It was just another thing to fill the slot beside the Zora Armour
