I went to Gamestop and all I got was this crappy guide.

You read correct. I am now the all-knowing master of TP, and I don't even have the game! I just bought the guide, and I plan on reading through it soon. IN YOUR FACES. ALL 27,000 OF THEM.

Um, have fun with that.I think that ruins the experience of playing the game if you read the whole guide before you even have the game. But, if it floats your boat, have fun...

I have to wait for Nintendo to ship mine. And the soundtrack.

Ooh, that's fun. I like reading the introduction (to characters and all) before playing the game. It spoils the experience a little, but being less eager means that I play less each time and make the game last longer.

i think that is better, its stupid for example to start playing TWW and they show Aryll and to dont kno she is your sister!!!!! its very strange. i (almost) hate guides, but i love reading the game manuals!

If something as important as that isn't apparent in the game, then the writers must not have done their job very well. Guides, to me, are for 'stretching' the experience.

Game manuals are great. But they aren't as colourful as guides.

How much did you pay for the guide?

Are there any online guides up on the internet yet?

15 bucks. I traded in about five games, The Godfather, Some racing game, a PSP game, and some other game, and I got 16 bucks. Now I have 1.01 toward my Wii.

Re: I went to Gamestop and all I got was this crappy guide.

I had the opportunity to get the strategy guide for nostalgic purposes; but I decided getting the limited edition one would be more suitable. I don't plan on reading any guides until I beat the game.

Yeah........good for you..........
You have fun with that. As for me, I'll get through the game on skill, not previews.
