SERIOUS spoiler related question about Midna inside!

MAJOR SPOILER WARNING!!!
Alright, I'm sure some of you may not have seen this or you may have, but this vid shows Wolf Link meeting Midna and then Zelda. But as interesting as that is, I have a question about something Zelda says to Midna near the end. At 26:55, this conversation happens:

Midna: You don't have to look so sad! We actually find it to be quite livable! I mean, is perpetual twilight really all that bad?
Zelda: Midna...this is no time for levity. The shadow beasts have been searching far and wide for you. Why is this? *Midna jumps up and floats away from wLink, not looking at Zelda*
Midna: Why indeed? You tell me! Eee hee hee!

When I first saw Zelda say that, I thought Zelda meant Link was being looked for by the twilight monsters. But when I rewatched it, I found it interesting that Midna seems to be the one who it's directed at. So my question is this: Why is Midna being searched for by the monsters? Did she do something to make the Twilight King mad? She seems to quickly make it clear that she's not wanting to talk about it, and blows it off like it's not important. But something tells me it is, and she really didn't want to admit it. Your guys' thoughts?

Holy crud, you just exposed it! Midna = Twilight Princess who feels bad because of what the Twilight has done to Hyrule, disguises herself as Midna, helps Link do all the hero stuff... and she's hunted because shes a traitor!

They said there was something about midna that was not to be expected... that must be it, i don't know what though.

Its clear that Midna is a creature of the Twilight; she lives there, has control over the port holes and teaches Link everything about the realm.

If she's helping Link to defeat the Twilight King she's must be a traitor of some sort.

One problem with the whole Midna=Twilight Princess: Midna calls Zelda "Twilight Princess," quite evilly, but still.

For direct qoutes:
(23:32-35)Midna: "So, don't you think you should explain to him what you've managed to do? You owe him that much... Twilight Princess! Eee hee!"
(26:37) Zelda: "The kingdom succumbed to twilight, but I remain its princess..."

So, yeah, Zelda's the Twilight Princess. But, I have no clue how Zelda and Midna know each other.

:O I saw that, but took it as a sadistic joke on Midna's part. Zelda's not the princess of all of the twilight, after all. Just of Hyrule, which has been shrouded in twilight. Anyways, according to spoilerriffic reviews, you don't end up finding out that Midna's the titular Twilight Princess until far later in the game (after dungeon 7, if I recall correctly).

Yea i would like to know how Midna and Zelda know eachother. It almost seems like they have known each other before this happened.

Oh well this just made me want to get the game even more. You just got to love those little mysteries.

Maybe Midna is the Twilight Queen, then at the end she is turned back to the Queen of Hyrule ?

I must admit that I did expect a twist like this from Nintendo, Midna being the TP and all. However, the neat, little conversation between Zelda and Midna was really weird. And the conclusion you came up with, Saria.exe, was quite brilliant. There's a good chance for Midna being the TP, and is hunted by the Twilight King for her treason.
But what did the Twilight King ever do to her that made her leave him?

Hrrm. The only conclusion I can come to is that deep down Midna isn't evil like the Twilight King, and wanted to put things right. Or she coulda just had a fight with her dad. If you think about it, if Midna is the TP, then the Twilight King is her father, sooo...

Hehe, you misunderstood my post

I wrote the Twilight King perhaps hunted her for treason, which pretty much approves with your theory. She abanded her father alongside with her entire race.
I'm on your side here, Saria.exe

I agree that Midna might not be as evil as her possible father would've wanted her to be. So when the Twilight King decided to conquer the land of Hyrule, she ran away, teamed up with Link and fought for Hyrule's freedom against her "old man" instead.
My point is; Midna is good!

But the big question is: How did Midna end up in jail? After all, it was in captivity Link and Midna met eachother and teamed up, right...?

Rogue general perhaps... sought to take something from Ganondorf for her own ends and fled to the Twilight realm?

My theories still point to Midna being Veran.

Well according to the vids TSA posted over in the Hype Thread, this is part of Midna's story:
She is part of a tribe that was banished to the Twilight by the gods when they tried to take over the world. The tribe got used to it, until the Twilight King invaded and using a dark power he obtained from someone used the twilight to infect Hyrule. Midna, not liking this, escaped from his forces and met Link. She wants to work with Link to stop the King and return her people to normal life.
At least, that's what I got from it
