Koboli is Postman??

People say Rito's were once the zora's. But who says so, maybe they were just human. After days of collecting photo's to make my statue-collection complete in the nintendo gallery. I found something out. This guy named Koboli looks suspicious much like a old pal.. Our old postman:

You should post what the description says. I can't remember entirely what it says, but I think it's something that can back up your theory.

Yes, very much so. I had a small chuckle over that when i got the koboli figurine...I think maybe the postman mated with a zora or something, then the offspring evolved into a rito 0_o

I've been thinking about this a lot myself. It's the main source of my crazy theory that not all who evolved into Ritos were Zoras. Maybe there was a group of Zoras, Hylians, Gerudos and even Gorons that settled on Death Mountain when the water started to rise. Eventually, they all got a scale from Valoo and turned into Ritos.

A lot of holes in that theory.

No the theory is that Zoras evolved inte Ritos, not the Gorons.

Usually, I agree with that. Who gives a crap about the timeline? But this topic I find pretty interesting.

Thorn, im not saying it needs its own theory, or there is a explanation. I think its just a funny (kind of) easter egg i want to share with the ones who doesnt know. Actually i hate nothing more then theories. I believe only what is said in the games themself. And if nintendo knew what the timeline theory was, and how Link died, they for sure would have say it in the games instead of placing very vage hints. Im pretty sure if you ask such a question to Nintendo like: How can kokiri's become ancestors if they dont turn older then 10. And gorons are with only males? Just like Gerodus are with wimen? How doe they get children? " im sure they would say something like: Dude, dont take it so serious its only a game... get a life " I mean, whole day threads are popping op with those silly questions, i hate them.. but on the other hand, that's why its a forum.

whoah, that's a great side by side picture. I'm sure the postman may have gave some inspiration to the Rito characters while wind waker was in production. I doubt it's a connection but just a flashback to the fans from nintendo showing their appreciation.

Maybe there was a Zora postman? You never know, there could have been. But I doubt that it was the postman from MM, because Termina is Hyrule's double in a parallel dimension, so technically, he can't exist in Hyrule, so Koboli's ancestor couldn't have been the postman in MM. If Koboli were to be descended from a Hylian postman, it'd most likely be the postman in TMC.

That's probably what it is. Just a small eater egg that older nintendo fans might find amusing. Of course theories like these and mine might result in a few raised eyebrows at nintendo HQ...

Are you calling me a fanboy? Your tredding on extremely thin ice if you are. Don't call me a fanboy because I have an opinion about the subject at hand. And also, just to enlighten you, Gerudos go to Hyrule Market to get boyfriends, as said in OoT, so that clears up the "how do Gerudo reproduce?" matter. There may be Goron women, they just look like the males (there are loads of species of animal where you can't tell the males from the females). And also, the Great Deku Tree makes the Kokiri, so when they die, he probably uses the same gene that he used to create a previous Kokiri, therefor making the original Kokiri "ancestors" (at least that's the most logical thing to happen to me).

Now then, back to the Koboli-postman theory. It may of been originally intended for some of the Hylians to evolve into Rito, but then they changed it to Zoras and forgot to edit the figurine text.

Ah, Koboli. That makes possible my theory that species can get "along" as well. A marriage between a Hylian and a Zora? or a Rito?

On a Gossip Stone. I think that's the main reason that the Gossip Stones were put in OoT: to give clues as to how these sort of questions can be answered.

If you wear the Mask of Truth in front of them, they'll say stuff to you like "They say Malon of Lon Lon Ranch hopes to be swept off her feet by a knight in shining armour". It's quite interesting stuff actually.
