If you mean the on in the lake you must talk to it in Wolf form and he gives you a flying minigame. So you can only do this after getting the Master Sword.

golden cuccoo....boomerang will not spin the bridge to reach sacred grove....

I am at the part in the faron woods on the way to the temple of time. I grab the golden cucco, the one that flies farther, and fly from the root of the tree to the spot where you have to use the boomerang to rotate the bridge. Only problem is, no matter where i stand, my boomerang wont make the bridge rotate. I lock onto it and everything and nothing happens. So I noticed there was a broken pole before it, i flew to it and tried, and it rotated. Problem is once there I am too low to get back up, so i have to fall and therefore the bridge resets its position so it's pointless.

is this a glitch and i'm screwed????

my last save was right after the snow board and so i can redo the whole sequence of talking to lady at the bar>going to see the buddy in the faron woods who gives me the cucco......same results....boomerang locks on bridge but won't spin it.

oh and i called the 800 number and they said this is not a glitch.

however if i don't have everything i need to advance....then WHY would thelma tell me to see RUSL who then gives me the golden cuccoo and says GO AHEAD???!?!?

I just used the Cucco to fly onto the bridge, and then I rotated it.

abyss i can't believe that's possible.

you mean veering to the left or right and trying to swoop in on the bridge?

do you have to let go of the chicken at the last second to grab the edge of the bridge?


i tried that a million times before i figured out there was a problem.
you def can't jump straight at the bridge and make it over the railing....and trying to go to the left side you just don't get enough height to clear the bridge or even grab the edge to hang on it

I checked again, and I seem to have mixed some bridges. It is indeed impossible to just get on there, but you should be able to use the Gale Boomerang. I experienced some difficulty in turning the bridge myself, but ultimately I managed to do it.

So I need ONE more heart piece in order to have all 20 hearts, but I have no idea where it is. The fortune teller shows me the bogged up Faron Woods, but I have no how where the heart piece can be there. Anyone want to help?

There are two there. One in the place where you got the key at the beginning of the game. Light the two torches and the chest will appear.

For the other, go to the place where the owl statue is. Move it over to the circular dent in the ground, change to wolf form, and use Midna to jump up to a high ledge that leads to a ledge in the place with the purple fog that has the chest.

If you didn't get this one at the beginning of the game, there's no need to fret, just travel through the poisoned mist by use of your lantern. It will take awhile till you reach it, but just be patient and have some oil with you and you should make it easy.

I could have sworn I got it though, oh well, we'll see.

..so it turns out I did miss that first heart piece.

Well, I got it now and I'm officially done with the game.
