Official Gamecube/Wii Zelda Help Thread

^ I believe it's just a cave with some keese and a chest of rupees, and then you come out in the front of the island.

Hmm if that's all that is there then it's not worth the time. I have plenty of rupee's.

Ok now that I feel really dumb for asking so many questions. Here's another. What am I missing to get into the shards? I get to the part where there is a wind symbol in a circle and a circle with the symbol of the triforce but can't figure out what I'm missing to open them.

I've tried everything I have and combinations of most everything but just can't get into it. I've finished powering up the sword and found 2 of the shard or shard charts just can't get to them.

oh! jsut play the Wind's Requium, (you know the song you use to summon the wind)

I tried that once before but it didn't work when I tried it. Maybe it was just that I hadn't gotten far enough into the game yet.

That would be "The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Eddition". It has the fallowing:

I was playing WW and I went to the pictograph guy on Windfall Island. I started his assignments, but I can't figure out the first one. Who does he want the pictograph of and how do you get it?

he wants a picture of the guy in red trousers delivering a letter. wait near the post box but stand back a bit and wait till you can see the letter. he's kinda picky so make sure you get his whole body.

Also be sure that the poor man doesn't see you if you haven't rescued Aryll yet or he'll run to you and talk to you so you'll miss the shot.

First, this should be in the N64 forum. Second, the evil in his heart and the Triforce of Power allowed him to transform into a vicious weird pig monster thing.

First off, wrong place. That question should really be focused in N64 Zelda. I can understand if you are playing OoT on the Gamecube (via Master Quest or Collector's Eddition), but all OoT related questions (no matter what system they are in) go to N64 Zelda. Ok with that said, I might as well answer your question (but what I said above should be taken into consideration for future references).

In a nutshell, Ganondorf is able to transform because he has the Triforce of Power with him. The Triforce of Power gives Ganondorf's inner self a form as Ganon. Does that make sence?

Umm, Needle Rock Isle is in A5, two screens north and and one screen west from Outset. You should be able to see the island from afar, since there's this huge, tower-like rock on the middle of it.

I don't know if this issue has already been adressed, so I may as well post.

I have the promotional edition copy of "Master Quest", with comes with "Ocarina of Time" and a bunch of other promos.

In both the OoT version and MQ version, I cannot seem to find the sinking lure, or any trace of the hylian loach. I finally saw it in my friend's N64 version, but I cannot see it or hear the "pah" sound it makes when it comes to the surface.

Was it foregone in this version? Or perhaps my disk is damaged or my save file corrupted. Any thoughts?

Its a port from N64 with updated textures and some minor bug fixes so the loach should be there. The sinking lure is really hard to find, so it is probably there as well.

I suppose so... but I've looked in all the places I've ever heard mentioned...

-all the lily pads
- the grass
- the delta of the stream
- the logs
- the reeds
- the grass shoots in the water
- and every god-forsaken rock in that area

*sigh*

Just keep at it Link-chan. Its location is totally random and hard to find but you know what they say - if at first you don't succeed try, try again.

Regarding your name: Do you intend "chan" to refer to Link or you? It's chan for girl and kun for a boy like Link. I know you're female though, so maybe you're referring to yourself? Just wondering.

I heard that you need to catch a fish of some certain size before the sinking lure appears. Could be a false rumor, though.
