Re: Official Gamecube/Wii Zelda Help Thread

Look on your ghost ship map and find the island is on then go to your sea chart and zoom in on the islands until you find the one that looks like the one the ship is on. Then warp as close as you can and sail to that area. When you see the ship just sail straight through it and you’ll be inside.

Re: Official Gamecube/Wii Zelda Help Thread

To expand on that, you find the Ghost Ship map at Diamond Steppe Island. Use the Hookshot to climb to the top of the Island. Drop into the hole and it will take you into a cave where you must go through a Warp Pot maze in order to find the map. After that, just check the map to see where the Ship will be (depending on the moon phases) and sail to that location.

Re: Official Gamecube/Wii Zelda Help Thread

Are you talking about the Nintendo Gallery were they make figures? If you are then go into Forest Haven and go to the top of the Deku Tree where you got the Deku Leaf. Then look for a single bud on the other side of the branch you're on float to that bud to shoot up in the air and float to the ledge in front of it. When you go outside make the wind blow north and float to the little island below your ledge. When you land on the island look back at the ledge you just jumped off. There should be a little cove in the wall just below the ledge you jumped off. Use a Hyoi Pear to make a seagull fly in that cove and hit a switch. This will make a ladder fall so you have a faster way to get to the gallery.

I've got a question. How do you get the color pictobox thing? The guy in the photogallery said I had to have a color pictobox. Where could I find this?

Need Some Help...Where is the Fairy at Two-Eye Reef?

I am at two-eye reef and I am looking for a fairy that is supposed to make my magic meter bigger? I already got all the triforce shrards and I'm on my way to ganon. I thought I would stop off here first and get my magic increased but I can't find the fairy. Where is it? Thanks for any help!

I think the fairy that makes your magic meter bigger is in one of the giant squid, there could be one you need to kill near two eye reef.

Do you mean the guy at the reef with the telescope looking at the seagulls? He mentions the fairy and magic. But where is she?

Re: Official Gamecube/Wii Zelda Help Thread

If it's the Great Fairy near Two-Eye Reef that you're trying to find, I'd check ZU's Great Fairy Chart. Like FrizzyFrizbie mentioned, you must defeat a Big Octo before releasing the fairy.

Re: Official Gamecube/Wii Zelda Help Thread

Hi I'm fairly new to gamecube and just borrowed the wind waker game. I have 2 questions about it.

The first on is...I've gotten up to the Tower of the God's but can't seem to beat the end boss. I can shoot him down with the arrows but can't get past that. I shoot arrows into his mouth but nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to get the burning arrows that I've heard about first?

Second question is.....I've tried to get the stuff from the Fire and Ice Islands but when I went to Mother and Child Islands to get whatever I needed from there I was told I had another to protect. I've done the Deku saplings and taken care of grandma's health. Is there something else I'm supposed to do first? Do I need to defeat the Tower of the God's boss first?

Thank you for any help you can give me.

Re: Official Gamecube/Wii Zelda Help Thread

Shoot him down with the arrows like you were doing, then throw bombs into his mouth. Do it around 4 times to kill him.

Beat the Helmaroc King (the big bird) then the story will show the last person you have to protect. After that you can go to Mother Child Island to get the magic arrows.

You fight the Helmaroc King soon after you defeat the boss you are on right now so it won't take long to get the magic arrows.

Try tossing a bomb into his mouth.

Just keep playing, you'll find out sooner or later... It should be impossible to miss it, since it's a very important part of the plot. And yeah, you need to beat the Tower of the Gods first. Good luck.

EDIT: Gah, too late... Curse you, thelostlink! No, not really.

If you beat the game, it'll ask you to save, and it'll make a second quest file, where you'll start out with the color pictobox. I thought I heard somewhere there was a way to get it in the first quest, but I'm too lazy to look for it.

Re: Official Gamecube/Wii Zelda Help Thread

Thank you. I finally got through it. I've just finished with the sage Medli.

I have another question. How do I get up to the cave on Dragon Roost Island? I've been through everything I can think of but can't find a way to that. It's the one where the big birds are. I'm thinking of trying to go up to where the Reto take off and trying to fly around with my Deku leaf. Will that work? I know he keeps staring up where the bombs and the rock holding the trunk are even tho I've already gotten that.

Thank you again

Re: Official Gamecube/Wii Zelda Help Thread

Go through the exit to the left of the letter sorting desk. You should be outside on the back side of the island now. Look north (to your left) and you should see a rock pillar with birds flying around it. Change the wind in that direction and fly there, watch out for the birds though because they knock you down. Then look for the next pillar, change the wind to go there and float to that. Just keep following the arrows on the rocks and you'll get there. I don't think there’s anything special there though.
