Re: Official Gamecube/Wii Zelda Help Thread

Jpnuar, Tingle says that whenever you walk into a dungeon that has a Tingle Statue... and depending on how you count dungeons, that could be all of them.

What you should do is keep the GBA turned ON, but take the Tuner off your three items XYZ--it doesn't need to stay there. You'll have a Tuner as long as your batteries last.

Walk around the dungeon, and when you go to a new room, move the D-pad on the GBA around so you can scan the room. If there comes a time when a little exclamation point appears, check it. A little tedious, yes. Tingle will say something seems interesting and you should check it out.

In Tower of the Gods, Dragon Roost, and the Earth Temple, the Tingle Statues definitely appear in places that don't seem to make sense, like platforms or places that you can get to... but then what? The other two are just in places you might just get to normally, but you would never notice without the Tuner.

Hope that helps.

You need to use Tingle Bombs at the spot.

If you see in all the zelda games, you'll see that you only can collect 999 rupees, but in windwaker you can have 5000 rupees. Why?

Maybe because Nintendo realized that we wanted more money? I really don't know.

You need more money to translate maps from Tingle. Plus, in OoT and MM, you can only get 500.

Nope, you can only get figurines of living things. Strangely enough, you can get one of a crab and one of a pig, as well as one of a fairy and all the enemies and all the bosses. After you beat Ganondorf, or in the second play-through, you can get the legendary pictos from Lenzo in the pictography shop on Windfall Island of the creatures and such you never get to take pictos of, such as Jabun, Laruto, the King of Hyrule, etc. And they're not actually the godesses. They're mere sculptures with some sort of power. If you complete all the hundred or so figurines of everyone and every living thing in the game (I don't think the King of Red Lions works and Ankle is optional because you need the Tingle Tuner for that), then you get a figurine of Link on the King of Red Lions.

Actually, you can get the Legendary Pictographs after you get the Master Sword. You just have to meet the character before you can get the Pictograph. I have one more figurine to get.

Light Arrows

:moodswing Where in the world do I get Light Arrows? I got past the 4 bosses I revisited (B&W) before Puppet Ganon, and I guess I'm needing those because the boat dude tells me I have errands to run & takes me to Forsaken Fortress!

Re: Official Gamecube/Wii Zelda Help Thread

ok to get the light arrows you go to the room with phantom ganon then after you defeat him you go to the door that the hilt points too (the duller side of the sword) then you reapeat that process until you get to a room where the light arrows are then i think you go back out of that room and shoot phantom ganon with the light arrows he will die instantly. i hope that helps

p.s im not sure wat your talking about wth B.M maybe if you told me it would be a little easier to explain

I can't even find him! I come across a giant room with 2 little doors (leads to candlesticks & the boatdude) there's also a big door that I try to open but when I get near it, it says "sidle" (the message it gives Link to scooch on his side!) What up?

Let me handle this one. When you go through the Phantom Ganon rooms, when you kill the Phantom Ganon, it will drop its sword. The direction the handle is facing is the direction you should go.

-EDIT-
Damo, we both just said that.

You get the Light Arrows just before you beat Puppet Ganon, you get them by beating Shadow Ganon!

I have heard that it's possible to name yourself Zelda in the second quest(after having beaten Ganondorf) and then the background music will change. Is this true?

Yes, it's true. But I've heard you can change it temporarily by going into Zunari's shop at night and changing it to day.

Re: Official Gamecube/Wii Zelda Help Thread

The triforce shards come after the earth and wind temples. First off, warp to Mother and Child Isles (you'll have to get the warp song if you don't have it). The great fairy queen gives you fire and ice arrows. Go to the little volcano south of Dragon Roost, and Ice Ring Isle west of Forest Haven. Get the stuff there and then head for the earth temple! Hopefully you'll remember what to do.

Re: Official Gamecube/Wii Zelda Help Thread

Ooh I thought you meant you were playing it over again.

Look for the big tornados. There's one by the northwest triangle island where you put a pearl, and one by shark island (northeast of Outset, I think). Get caught in the whirlpool around it, and then shoot arrows at the guy at the top of the tornado. Three hits and he'll give you the warp song.
