Am I the only onr GLAD about the TP delay????

Yes, I am dissapointed about the long 5 month extra wait for one of the most anticipated games in history, but seriously, the poor people at Nintendo are working their butts off to meet the November deadline! I mean, look at this screenshot: http://cubemedia.ign.com/cube/image/...6014851921.jpg

The only charchter that is developed is Link, and only two things in the picture have shadows: Link and the dog. Also, the characters are duplicated many times and the buildings just look like pathetics legos lazily put togethr. Why? ITS BECAUSE THEY HAVN'T HAD ENOUGH TIME! *gasp!* No way. What they are trying to do is catch up with the complicated graphics and try the gain back those Zelda fans they lost over TWW. Now I don't know WHY people had such a fuss over that game. Sure it was easy and the graphics were weird and the ending was lame, but any Zelda game would turn out to be a lot better than any Mario game.....just in my opinion. Plus, they are trying to make Link look "real" underwater. Which means they are trying to make his hair and his clothes wave, and when he gets out, have him be a little heavier. (Wet clothes are heavier than dry ones.) And, they are still trying to agree on how to express the voices in this game. I, personally, am fine with the little noise right in front of the text, just because its unique, and it doesn't make it look like a kids game, considering that kids can't read. But really, the game will be 4 times longer than OOT and like, 3 times harder so I don't think you'll be dissapointed with the delay when it comes out. I'm sure it will be worth it.

If you look closely, you can see that the other characters have shadows but theyre just faded because of the mist. I can see the duplicated characters and we CANNOT have that!

oh, so if it's delayed past march, you're just not gonna buy it? i highly doubt that.

anyways, i am sad that i have to wait at least 7 months now instead of 3, but i don't want duplicate, dull looking characters, i want to feel like it's a real world. so i hope it's worht the extra wait, and i do hope that it's not delayed again

Yeah, I think every true Zelda gamer is deep-down dissapointed about this event. I promised one of my cousins that they could play it when we have our family reunion at Christmas time, but now I'll just have to break the news to her that she can't.

Re: Am I the only onr GLAD about the TP delay????

And where did you get this info? "They are still trying to agree on how to express the voices in this game." They said they chose to go with grunts and not voice acting.

"They are trying to make Link look "real" underwater." I've heard people on the forums say that it dosn't look good enough or real, but Nintendo has said nothing about it.

"They are trying to make his hair and his clothes wave, and when he gets out, have him be a little heavier." Yeah that would be nice, and i'm sure his hair will move, but the heavy thing sounds stupid. To me these just sound like personal opinions, how bout a link to all this info?

Lol. I don't have any proof that they said this don't get me wrong. The heavy thing sounds stupid to me too. One of my friends at EB games told me, although I'm sure that she's just making it up. Lol.

I don't care that they're postponing it, I was looking forward to playing it, but if it'll give them more time to work and make it better, I'm all for waiting.

Re: Am I the only onr GLAD about the TP delay????

^ I agree. Zelda is a fantasy game and needs to stay that way. Although, I would like to see Link actually be WET when he get out of the water. Not heavy just wet. And the duplicated characters need to go. ((Look at the link above)) I just can't wait to play it! They seriously need to try and create more hype for the game during this delay. Like, release new official trailers. And some commercials promoting its release. I would go all over just seeing a commercial for it. Omg.

Re: Am I the only onr GLAD about the TP delay????

Yay Link actually loses blood! That's cool. Well, its just more realistic. He's obviously not a monster so of course he wouldn't have green blood but....wow. Red blood. *happy*

Re: Am I the only onr GLAD about the TP delay????

The most i'm intrested in that game is the twilight, i mean it is the most weirdest and strangest place i have seen in any zelda game. And link transforming into a wolf, that was the biggest thing that hit me.I thought why they was a wolf at the end of the second trailer.

Yeah. ZU was all like: Wolf thing a fake.

But when I saw the second trailer I knew the game had SOMETHING to do wolves.

Where did you see him lose red blood? Haven't noticed that so I'm curious.

Anyways I'm sad and happy at the same time for the delay. The main thing I want to see changed is the duplicated characters. There's never been a zelda game with 2 characters looking the same (expect for twins or soldiers). It's just not zelda if you're going to have like 5 people running arround that look the same and it takes away the realistic feeling.

It's not exactly fun having to wait another half year and it won't be easy, but it'll be worth the wait. Hopefully some other stuff will keep me busy.

Oh and it's actually a good thing since my birthday is april 16, so with some luck the release will be close with it =)

Re: Am I the only onr GLAD about the TP delay????

I dont really want to wait that long, but if they delay it they can really put a lot of work into it. I have a wonderful feeling that this game will be so much greater than oot ever was. Either that or it wont be good at all.

Re: Am I the only onr GLAD about the TP delay????

I just hope they don't do what Bungie did with Halo 2, and leave out all this stuff originally planned for the game just to meet the deadline. I want all of the new Zelda, every last god damned feature, no skipping, no cheating. Take as long as you want, I just want a new, great Zelda game. Luckily I'm a patient fellow.

Re: Am I the only onr GLAD about the TP delay????

They can delay it up to April, but I don't want to be cosplaying at NoBrandCon as a character who's video game keeps being delayed. No style point from the cosplay judges for that crap.
