Master Quest

I just picked up my copy of WW and relasied that i had the Master Quest Disc. I took it for a spin and loved the new dungeons. I was so swept up in WW at the time that i casually tossed Master Quest aside. Did everyone else like it?

Re: Master Quest

wow, MQ is really hard - I'm still stuck on the Dodongo's Cavern after beating the original OoT about 4 times. But the Deku Tree was a nice change. It was cool not to have an insanely easy first dungeon. But I don't really play it all that much anymore. I think if I'm gonna enjoy OoT, I'm not gonna be ripping my hair out over a dungeon, lol!

Re: Master Quest

Yeh Master quest was basically just one for the people who thought OoT was way to easy. Nice of Nintendo to add such a great thing though!

Quite simply, all of the dungeons in Master Quest, from Inside the Deku Tree to Inside Ganon's Castle, are completely different. I mean, the maps/layouts of the dungeon are much the same, but all the puzzles are radically different.

Anyway, when I first heard of the pre-order bonus, I made sure to pre-order a copy of Windwaker early, so I could make sure to get my own copy of the Bonus Disk. So, while I was waiting for WW to come out, I made at least one run through of both the original OoT and Master Quest. It's a fun little diversion, if the original OoT is boring to you.

Re: Master Quest

I found it wasn't too much harder, though at the moment I'm stuck in the Spirit Temple . It's a wicked addition to the game, though...

Re: Master Quest

I have yet to get MQ.. I found it in a toy store a few weeks ago but I don't want to shell out 30€ for WW again =/

I already beat OoT on my CE disc but I want more challenge. I remember Dondongo's Cavern on MQ being a pain...

Re: Master Quest

Not really, it's just like going through the dungeon in reverse order for Dodongo's Cavern...

Re: Master Quest

MQ was great, i've done it 100% and soooo many times, i loved every minute of it, to be honest, i liked it more than WW, but i must say WW was pretty good, but MQ offered more of a challenge to me

Re: Master Quest

I have completed MQ, there was a little difference, a little harder I guess but I do wish the bosses were more tougher too, more smarter and not too easy to weaken, anyway it was a good change and I enjoyed it

Re: Master Quest

I beat Master Quest... I loved it! Actually, I was playing it just earlier today.

I got stuck a few times, but in the end, all was well. I was surprised that I could actually beat it.
