Why does everyone hate Twilight Princess?

That's more than 10, AND that's just the ones I particularly like. The only other Zelda game that competes with having a soundtrack I like better is WW.

Snowpeak, Gerudo desert and fishing pond are variations of hyrule field, kakariko is a variation of the original kakariko theme (it is heavely changed, but it is,I won't count it) sacred grove is Saria's song, this leaves us with:

They are eleven, now I will try to be as objective as possible saying this: but the last 4 , along with beast ganon aren't even good: they feel sooooo uninspired, twilight realm doesn't neither seem music, they're all soooo annoying, I can't find Izzi's river side anywhere, could you link it, please?

However, I would add to the 6 remaining tracks, other ones I like, Pyros, Zant and Ordon village are the original ones I can think of, there are other good but not original, Rutela's theme is something amazing IMO.

The music in TP isn't as good as the other Zelda games, it was okay, but they could have done much better, I don't hate TP: I enjoyed the game, I feel just like it was a direction Zelda games shouldn't take, it lacked of that magical athmosphere we love; it is a good game if we take it individually, but into the series, the other games are much better. (Well, Skyward sword is safe only because of the wiimote +,FS and FSA are probably worse, but again: it didn't feel so much like a Zelda game)

The music in TP isn't as good as the other Zelda games, it was okay, but they could have done much better

As someone with an extensive musical education (RCM diplomacy in 2 instruments, highest levels in 6 and a grade 1 in higher music) I can give my honest opinion of those last 4, being that they are, in a technical sense, good. As in, the concepts, sound font, rhythm etc. go well together. If you were to invent a piece of music identical to either of those last 4, you would receive the top mark undoubtedly.

But that's from a technical standpoint, that while usually being a good sign of whether or not the music is "good",music obviously doesn't register in the brain as sounding the same to everyone. That's why we all have separate opinions, but you can't call them uninspired, because the definition of "uninspired" isn't equal to those songs.

Oh, don't misunderstand me, I'm sure they are good from that point of view, but they aren't when you are forced to listen them for 50 minutes and they are short and looped, those are the tipical tunes that when you listen them too much, smash your head.

The newer Zeldas have more tracks in general (a lot of it ambient, forgettable tunes), but as a proportion of the entire soundtrack, Twilight Princess really does seem to be the biggest offender of rearrangements (and in a couple of instances, what sound to my--admittedly untrained--ears as complete copy and paste jobs).

Off the top of my head . . .

Death Mountain (a good remix, I'll concede), Sacred Grove (I liked the original better), Temple of Time (almost identical), Zora's Domain (almost identical), Hyrule Castle (a good remix), Kakariko Village (weak remix, imo), Epona's Song, Zelda's Lullaby, Shop, Fairy's Fountain, Indoor, Master Sword, Ganon's theme. Then you throw in the fact that the Hyrule field theme is rearranged several times (one iteration of which is probably the game's best and most memorable song--Midna's Lament) and there is a lot of rehashing.

The dungeon music, as with Wind Waker, was a huge let down mostly because it was just too conservative. And I found most of the original songs to be pleasant but also decidedly conservative/ambient (Lake Hylia, Hyrule Town, Faron Woods fit into this category).

TP does get some points for having unique music for most of its boss fights and even some of its mini-bosses. In fact, a couple of my favorite songs in the game were battle themes (Ook, Blizetta--both forms)

I don't want to be annoying, but actually forest haven is kokiri forest rearranged, it is still awesome though.

To be fair, the shop theme, Fairy's Fountain theme, and indoor theme are the same in almost all Zelda games. I wouldn't count them as copy/paste jobs, since they're supposed to be iconic themes. They're the same as the Item Get theme (opening a chest).

Epona's Song can't really be changed since, well, it's Epona's song. Same goes with Zelda's Lullaby and Ganon's theme.

Other than that, I agree with everything else. TP's soundtrack is mostly just rearrangements of older songs, or just rearrangements of Hyrule Field. TP doesn't have a very memorable soundtrack.

Now that we're talking about music... I can't remember the SS music being much good. I only remember Balad of the Goddess... and I think Fi had some decent music (where she dances).

I need to find the soundtracks of TP and SS.

Also, I remember not many people remembered much TP music past Midna's Lament and Hyrule Field (Which are the same anyways) until a few years later. Give SS some time to build nostalgia with its fans and in a couple years we'll learn of many of the staple music that made SS.

I agree! It was great! It's was darker and the first Zelda game I played(so I have a special place for it) I don't know it's hated!

Honestly, I liked Twilight Princess.

Aside from TP not having all that much original music, it didn't really have sidequesting. Although it did have the 5 heart-piece thing rather than having to have 4. But then again, there wasn't that many heart-pieces to be found...

OoT (the first port of call for TP defense) isn't exactly brimming over with sidequests. But you have a point. Siidequests are always fun.

As for the pieces of heart, you couldn't be more wrong. There are 45 pieces of heart in TP. the second most in the entire series after MM (52). OoT, by comparison, heads up the middle of this field, with 9 fewer pieces than TP (36) and the fifth least/most pieces out of all of the games.

Didn't loved it but didn't hated it either.
It disappointed me somewhat because it felt very empty and simplified.
They did expand the world and made a larger area to roam,but they didn't filled it with anything,so it only resulted on having to spend more time going from one point of the map to the other,making travelling tedious.
I also think the game had some balance issues. The battles where too easy,and some of the puzzles where too hard.
I only died two times in it,and both where on the last formation of the last boss,and that was because he wouldn't die with normal attacks,and the game didn't gave me any clue on how to beat him,and I had to search the internet to find out what to do.
Players shouldn't have to look to media outside of the game to get to know what they should do to play the game.
And it lacked overall challenge.

I think OoT handled sidequests perfectly. I don't like them that much, so 2 or 3 are fine for me. Of course, there's the argument that they're not necessary so I can just ignore them, and while I agree normally, it's not good if you spend more time on all the sidequests than the main quest, as in MM.
I feel they're just a distraction, they disrupt the game's smoothness and are rarely much fun. I don't mind trading sequences, either those you do throughout the whole game like in LA, or all at once, like in OoT.

Anyway, that's one reason I can understand why TP might be lacking, but for me, less is more.
