TP Best Hidden Skill

My favorite was the helm splitter. I didn't use it a lot, but it was really awesome when I did.

The backslice I'd say is one of the most useful skills, and one I used more than any other skill. However, my favorite is the Mortal Draw. It just reaches a level of badass the others don't touch. Can't say how else to describe it.

I don't really care about the hidden skills because the mechanism for unlocking them sucks, and they don't really add depth to combat.

Of course TP barely improves on combat in OoT, but that's another story.

Great Spin for me. That attack just looks so ridiculously cool (as do most of the skills) but the whole idea of it being the last skill to master and the sense of completion that came from learning it are what really push it to the lead of the pack for me.

Mortal draw. It was simple to learn and convenient.

The back slice was the best for me. I rarely used the others unless I had or was just playing around.

I would have to say the Back Slice followed closely by the Helm Splitter. On my first play through, I couldn't knock Ganondorf down with the sword lock thing, so I used the Back Slice and then the Final Blow to beat him.

While not typically the most useful of the hidden skills, I really dig the Ending Blow. Gets points for style. ;P

Helm Splitter and Back slice were cool. I liked those moves.
But my favorite is Mortal draw. It just looks badass to wait for them Lizalfos to come and then kill them in a single awesome sword strike!

They aren't invincible to it. It is difficult to use it against them, but it is possible. The Back Slice was one of my primary moves against them and other enemies.

I used the Back Slice against like all Darknuts in the game. I used it a lot against Ganondorf too.
Mortal Draw is very easy to use on Lizalfos, because they just run at you like stupid. Killed a lot of them in the Temple of Time.

Back slice is basically the "argh screw it" move against darknuts because they're helpless against it, unless there are several of them. Even Ganondorf can't always block it.

Backslice, partly because it loks cool, but mostly because I use it all the time. It's definitely the most useful hidden skill.

Helm Splitter comes in second because it looks awesome, but it's not as versatile or useful.

I liked the concept of Mortal Draw, but it wasn't particularily versatile, and couldn't be used in most combat situations. It was a great idea, though.

My favorite, too. As I would do it, I would Yet (and I quote here) "For Narnia!) Because I was spam moving that move so much it was like a battle.

The back slice, most definitely. It's very hard to beat Ganondorf without it (if you don't use the fishing poll, that is).

I remember when i first learned how to do it, I couldn't, and I was really upset because I hadn't saved in a long time and you're not allowed to leave the thing with the Hero's Shade. I was crying I was so frustrated, and once I did figure it out, it became one of the most helpful moves in the game.

Great spin is much stronger than normal spin, OP. Don't know what you're talking about calling it "unusable". It's not hard at all to keep your hearts maxed, just use your shield more. The great spin's range is also a lot better. Plus, Link does that badass scream.

Also, if you use it in conjuction with the Magic Armor and max wallet, you can speed right through anything.

I'm trying to beat the Cave of Ordeals with 3 hearts, and you'd have no idea how much the Great Spin has saved me in a pinch. A lot of those other moves can leave you vulnerable when fighting a large group of enemies. So yep, Great Spin for me.

I don't think I've ever used the great spin attack in any of the games it's been in.

One neat thing with the mortal draw is you can time A after it to put away your sword in a swanky manner.

Back slice makes everything so much easier. I do sheild bonk a bit though, even though it doesn't really do anything incredibly useful.
