That one always really bugged me. Link is about 5 seconds too late for about the THIRD BLOODY TIME and he really he could have beaten there if any logic had been implemented and the rubble had either been cleared or climbed over as opposed to going through an entire dungeon. And then there's Ghirahim; not only an utter incompetent but not really very threatening in this scene. In most of the other titles, some form of plot twist would have occurred at this point but really, I utterly forgot Ghirahim even existed up until this cutscene and it felt this is something he should have done earlier; he barely did anything earlier, there's no plot to TWIST! What does Ghirahim do to stop Link from reaching Zelda? He makes some diamonds appear... ok. Then he proceeds to attempt to fight Impah... which he could have probably beaten had he actually... you know TRIED TO. Hell. after Zelda escapes, Ghirahim doesn't even stay to fight Link; indeed, he needs to be fought two more times before the game is over in order to pad it out, so I guess they didn't want him to actually be threatening by this point.
So to you, zeldafan, I must ask; what did you like about the scene?
