They changed the pacing of the game significantly from previous titles. Combat used to be fast paced, now you are forced to wait for an opening to attack. I find motion controlled movement unintuitive and frustrating about half of the time, flying would have been much easier with dual joysticks (lol Nintendo) or at least copying swimming controls from Monster Hunter.
Stabbing, which used to be quite simple, is now possibly the hardest move to perform on the fly. I find that I need to stop swinging entirely and do a grand motion to guarantee success. Directional swinging as a whole is pretty inaccurate, the bamboo chop mini-game really exposes this. Usually when slicing in rapid succession Link will start hacking diagonally, and unless you stop slicing for a moment or perform an overzealous move the game will never correct itself.
It also bothered me that Link would not always swing the same direction I would. Sometimes I would like to rapidly attack the right side of something, however this is impossible due to the game forcing Link to strike back and forth. The game forces precision but in turn also gives us this.
I don't want to point my Wiimote at my TV to shoot stuff all the time. The bow and slingshot were dumbed down so much they were unusable during actual combat.
Shaking the Wiimote to escape being grappled or during sword clashes was awful.
I don't see how anyone could never imagine playing a Zelda game with a controller again. Promises were made in that department and after playing this I still prefer non motion controls.

This is why people aren't buying the Kinect and Move, it is awful. Companies are trying to force shoddy motion controls down consumer throats. What is there not to get?
The gaming market is quickly starting to cater more to casuals than the core gamer. The Kinect and Move are just eliminating the need to people to learn how to use something. And the simplicity of the titles utilizing them targets an audience that doesn't even know what PS3 stands for. With endless sequels, shooters, and dollar apps there is little hope for this generation. We already had a golden age of gaming, the future is looking more like a dark age.
