Is tentalus a cameo from Kid Icarus?

I may be an coincidence but the fifth boss tentalus looks alot like medusa from the NES game Kid Icarus.

Both are ciclops with snake hair.
both look similar (boobs?)
both require you to shot arrows to its eye to defeat them.





whats do you tink, is this a cameo or just a coincidence. and if its not coincidence are other reference in SS?

Doubtful. It's usually the most recent design that gets used like that, and Medusa's is now a sexy!Gorgon, rather than a hideous!Gorgon.

He looks like a lovechild of Mike and his girlfriend Selia. xD
