WW: Earth vs. Wind temple?

Someone please explain to me, why a flying creature is the earth-sage (Medli), and a ground-creature is the wind-sage (Makar)? Also, why a creature that lives in earth is the boss of the wind-temple (Molgera), while a creature that is made of ghosts (windy beings) is the boss of the earth temple (Jalhalla)?

Thats just.... Bleh...

Re: WW: Earth vs. Wind temple?

I've been wondering this for a long time, too. Maybe these things just bring balance between the earth and the wind? Bleh, that's lame. -_-

EDIT: But wait, Molgera can fly, so isn't he kind of a wind creature? And Jalhalla is basically dead, and the dead are usually buried to the earth.

Who really cares...earth temple was fun, and makar flies too, but with a leaf...I think they mentioned somewhere Rito are descendants and evolved from the Zora, and Makar from the Kokiri.

Maybe the fact that because the bosses were the opposite, that's why they were in those temples. The wind guy was in the Earth Temple to desecrate it, and vice versa.

Maybe it was the only way Nintendo could fit the expected items into play because they were forced to cut the game short to satisfy the consumers who eventually complained about it all.... thats how I see... originally, 2 or 3 more temples correct? well... maybe those bosses were supposed to be else where....

Maybe, they felt like switching the two around? I don't think there is a specific reason - maybe Nintendo felt it was more creative not to have a wind figure be guided through the wind templw, same for earth temple.

Also, they are able to find ways to make it work. And well. So, I don't see why people ask WHY they did it - they just did. The programmers decided thay wanted Medli for earth, and Makar for wind. Simple as that.

Re: WW: Earth vs. Wind temple?

It just goes to show that you don't have to be of the most obvious species in order to be a sage. A person from the forest being the forest sage? a person from the water being a water sage? Who didn't see that coming? A bird NOT being a wind sage? Different ad not expected. Being a sage has to do with destiny, not species. It'd have been cool if the Ice/Fire stages had been expanded, like Mess said into the teples they had been planned as, and a Goron Salesman was a sage of Ice

Well, to confuse you, obviously.

Seriously, though, I'd say it has to do with balance of nature. Having earth related things in the wind temple and air related things in the earth temple makes things more intertwined than simply having "two temples."
