Your thoughts on The Imprisoned?

I really liked him! He was one of the best bosses in the game. The first fight I thought he looked kinda goofy with no arms. But the fights after that he looked better. The whole concept of him andd story is great. He was kinda scary in the very beginning of the game in the dreams and hallucinations.

Fought him for the second time last night. He's all right, but my main problem with him is the overall feeling of
"Oh dear, the face-eating abomination got out of his cage again. Go put him back, please."

Welll that's the point, Its suppose to let you see that. He keeps breaking free and getting stronger, so you will have to do something to actually kill him.

I hope people know that you don't have to hit his toes to kill him.

As for my thoughts on it...I thought it was annoying as hell. "Oh no, it got out again! Save us, Link! Oh, but don't try too hard, it's just going to get out again." I mean really? I understand that that's the entire point, but it doesn't make it any less tedious.

I liked how Groose ends up helping you out, though.

Each fight became progressively more tense for me, as I hate timed boss battles.

I didn't know that... I mean I killed him.. But I kept going after his toes! Finally I just killed him by the jumping on his head after I chuck a bomb in his face.

Just get to a higher cliff and jump on its head. (Those Sailcloth winds are there for a reason) Its a HUGE timesaver

You... you can jump on his head? Well dang. I never even thought to do that.

If I'd have known that I probably wouldn't hate the jerk so much for being a repetitive pain in the butt I have to fight more than once. Then again to beat him you still do around the same thing so the Imprisoned will still be the most annoying boss ever to me.

He's like a giant teddy bear <3 I want to give him a hug.

You can only really successfully jump on his head the first battle. The rest he bucks you off.

I thought he was a great idea as a boss, needing you to take into account the area to beat him along with being different ways of hurting him.

Wish Ghirahim had shown up with him a fourth time after Skyfort, make it seem like the final battle. Beat The Imprisoned while Ghirahim tries to get him out before being crushed by the fort. Could've made for a hard and unique boss.

I felt like he was overused. They did a good job of changing his mechanics each fight, though, but it still doesn't feel excusable to fight the same person 3 times.

Well, it would be excusable if he didn't look like this:

He is aight I guess. Most stressful boss fight. You have need good stamina.

I tried doing that and I ended up just falling to the side :|

This thread lacks mention of the almighty Groosenator.

Am I the only one that consistently gets trolled by him in the second battle whenever I try to do the easy way out of his fight? Either I miss my landing because I suck or he just shakes me off.

I agree! It was such a good surprise to see that Groose ends up helping Link.

Aw man! The first time I fought him I jumped on his head... why the hell did I forget I could do that the other times?!?!?! I guess I felt too stressed out to experiment, which I like

He was intimidating before you confront him for the first time (he just looks goofy with those strange bubbly things).
