For those who have played the game.. Is there a Fairy Queen?

Just wondering , I'd love to know please.

I just beat the game - and no there isn't. No great fairies at all actually. Looks like Fi's resemblance to the queen of fairies is purely coincidental. Or it'll be explained in another game

Or it could be reincarnation?

Reincarnation isn't impossible, didn't she say "See you in another life" or something like that to Link?

Or maybe the fairies are sort of machines that were created similarly to the swords, hence the similarity to Fi.

She said she was going into a sleep that would never end, or something.
I think when she said "See you in another life" she meant when Link is reincarnated and uses the Master Sword again.
She's still there, just taking a nap, and a huge beating.
or does sleep that will never end = death? ;x

The Master Sword spoke in Ocarina of time -atleast Oot Zelda says so-

Even in TP Midna tells Link the sword accepted him as it's master.

So Fi is probably still in there but her as a character has no function anymore -since she was only created to guide Link in order to help the godess-

I remember discussions about Birth by Sleep (Kingdom Hearts) in another forums, and a few peoples said that sleep, in the ancient Japanese culture or something, was the death before the reincarnation or something along those lines; death is never permanent in that culture.

I don't know exactly how it was worded, I'll have to go back to those threads and do some research. But I wouldn't be surprised if she was indeed dead, unfortunately.

The prospect of this being true fills my heart with rainbows.

Am I the only one that from now on will think/refer to the Master Sword as "Fi"?
