•Beedle's Shop floats above the Skyloft market area; it is a floating house that stays up via propellers.
•You enter Beedle's house by ringing a bell. After which, a rope will be lowered that you can use to climb up.
•There is a bed inside the shop, which you can use to change between day and night (Note: you can probably do this with any bed, not just your own).
•If you don't buy anything, Beedle will literally open the hatch and throw you out.
•You can acquire a Life and Bug Medal from Beedle. The Life Medal gives you some power, while the Bug Medal lets you see bug locations on your map.
•At night, Beedle's shop is on a remote island that is also one of the many islands where you will be able to unlock a treasure chest that is sent up by a Goddess Cube.
•You can start on most of the sidequests after finishing the first dungeon.
•One sidequest involves going to the graveyard at night and ramming into a headstone to reveal a passage, which leads to a demon who wants to become a man.
If you bring him a certain number of Gratitude Crystals he'll give you a reward.

Actually, reading the text dumps that is just a sign of the sacred power that lies within him. At this point he doesn't have the Triforce. I'll try to dig up the quote; it's in the last demo file I think.

The mark you see upon the back of your
hand is proof that you are the hero of
legend and that within you dwells
sacred power.
It is the mark of the Triforce.
You see, the mark of the Triforce on
your hand is a symbol of the greatest
power in this world.
If you can obtain the actual Triforce,
we will have the power to vanquish
Demise once and for all.

While this all does fit in the dulled background mark of the triforce might be the thing symbolising the hero of legend destined to get the triforce and the golden glow might represent him getting a certain piece.
Re: New Skyward Sword Info, New Triforce Video Trailers. You Get to see The Triforce...
It's a reference to Adventure of Link and oracle series.

Mark of a Hero is not elaborated upon in these games, but it is recognized by many characters who state that, according to Hyrulean legends, the mark appears on the back of the hand of a hero who will save the land of Hyrule.

Im pretty sure in the Oracle games the simbol was black and not just one gold glowing part. Plus in TP we see it as it is shown in the video.. As for AoL I wouldn't know never played it. Is that official artwork or what? Sorry I'm an AoL newb.

That would be a good ending, but Nintendo wouldn't probably do that...

I think you might gets hints that they might get married/start the royal family, whatever... but it would probably be fairly Wind Wakeresque. I think Nintendo would tastefully leave such matters to the audience's imagination.
I can't recall a Zelda epilogue that is set years apart from the final events of the game. I don't think that's a rule set in stone, but I do think that's how Nintendo generally rolls.
Re: New Skyward Sword Info, New Triforce Video Trailers. You Get to see The Triforce...
I'm pretty sure the "mark" is the outline of the triforce/darkened triforce depending on the art style. But when you actually have a piece of the triforce said triforce is filled in. The mark just means you are destined to/able to obtain the triforce.

The last scene I'm going to talk about, arguably the most tangential to the overall plot of Skyward Sword would have to be the glowing of the Triforce symbol on Link's hand as he raises it towards the Hylian bird symbol, sans Triforce symbol. This could serve to explain that each reincarnation of Link actually possesses the Triforce of Courage in his soul by decree of the gods, rather than having to obtain the physical Triforce by his own gallant efforts. How substantial this scene will be on the overall timeline is anybody's guess at this point.
But we'll wait and see.
