Windfall Island question

So like, you know how Miss Marie, the teacher talks about volunteering? She talks about Zunari and the stuff you can find for his shop, and those things you put the decorations on?
Anyway, my question is, do you get anything awesome if you put a decoration on each of those thingdeals all over town?

The ZeldaWiki says:

"If Link helps the cause of the Joyous Volunteer Association by placing decorative items on the Joy Pedestals around the town, he will be rewarded with a Piece of Heart by Sam."

Here~

You only have to place stuff on the pedestals outside. So, you don't need to decorate the insides of houses. Then you talk to the guy, who's sits on a bench next to Zunari's store all day, he will give you a PoH.

Also, you can win Rupees from the man standing in front of Windfall's big archway if you put the right decorations on top of it. I think you get 50 rupees for placing the Postman and Shop Keeper Guru statues.

I put one on each of them including the ones inside and I didn't get anything other than the piece of heart.

I put things in all the spots indoors because I thought I was missing one, but it turned out the spot I missed was outdoors. There are 14 spots outdoors to get the piece, there are at least 14 or so more indoors which are not necessary, as far as I know.

The official guide says:

"Look for crown-shaped devices on Windfall Island. Place a flower or flag of any type in all 14 outdoor devices, then talk to the man on a bench to get a Piece of Heart. If you put a Postman or Shop Guru Statue on the gate, the man wearing yellow-and-blue clothes will give you Rupees."

Apparently you get the PoH from Zunari by completing his merchandise trading thing, not decorating the town.

No you dont. You get the Magic Armor for doing that. You get a heart piece by finishing the entire trading quest from one of the Gorons dudes with the packs on the islands by giving one of them the Shop Guru Statue.

Its really strange that i couldnt find anything in an FAQ about that sidequest. (the volunteering)

Ah gotcha! Stupid book just said you got a heart for finishing the trade quests so I just thought it was from Zunari. It's in the same paragraph as getting the armor from him.

I haven't done any of the side quests in like, 5 years so I'm more than a bit rusty.

I'm not sure you need to find ALL 4 of the kids, the order doesn't matter, the leader doesn't matter, there are no items to use, the graphics don't matter, they will all run away from you. You have to catch them ALL. If they aren't running you might not be in playing the hide and seek game yet.

On windfall island, that guy is on the steps sitting and all sad looking. He tells you to find what makes him happy.. It's round or something, and you have to take a picture of it..... What is the thing. I have been going over and over this.....
