Are you a Zelda fan?

Oh another whiney kiddie thread!
Not liking a game doesn't mean you hate the series and want to see it crash and burn. Accept it and stop trolling forums demanding one sided views. Liking a series is just as much as saying when standards drop as enjoying it, being a fan is hardly clapping like a seal everytime someone throws you a rotten fish, as standards never grow, Thats hardly being a fan thats just being ignorantly deluded.

I guess Ill have to vote no since its a very stupidly flawed poll.

I liked both games, but Twilight Princess was way better than wind waker. it had more dungeons, great controls(on wii), amazing plot, the best graphics for a zelda game so far, it goes on forever!

I've gotten the three zelda titles for game cube. Twilight Princess, Wind Waker and Four Swords Adventures and I enjoy them all for different reasons.

Four Swords Adventure is so different from your typical Zelda game. Like a combination of level playing and adventure and yet it works so well. And controlling four different Links is more fun than I could have imagined.

Twilight Princess is beautiful and epic and I really know it the best. Wind Waker is fun and charming and throws a person off. It's cartoony but doesn't slack on the puzzles and bosses.

I must say so. Even if I have only played Phantom Hourglass. I love the Zelda universe and I often read Zelda fanfics and look at Zelda fanart.
I'm ready to play more Zelda games.

I voted yes. I honestly do NOT understand how you could vote NO, because the WW's and TP's theme contrast each other so much. If you don't like either, then what exactly DO you like about Zelda?

It's not that we don't like either, it's that we don't like one of them.

Exactly. I almost feel like I can take a dump in a paper bag, write "Zelda" on it, and some of these people would warship it.

And no, I'm not comparing TP to a sack of @#$%. I'm just putting things in perspective.

Geez, it says GCN Zelda fan. You don't have to love every Zelda, but I don't see how a Zelda fan can hate Zelda, can't you see the irony in that very statement. I'd mention the entire series but this is on the GCN boards, so I wanted to keep it on topic.

Also, whoever said "hate" I do not hate TP. I hate a few things, but TP is not on the list. It falls under dislike and contempt.

As to how we still consider ourselves fans: We've been with the series for years, playing the games, trying new things, loving the series as a whole. We have eaten, drunk, and breathed Zelda all of us at some point in our lives, some more than others -hence posting on a forum- Oh, and WE POST ON A ZELDA BASED FORUM! I hope that qualifies us as fans.

Twilight Princess wasn't great, but it was fun. Wind Waker is one of my all time favourite games though. So I'll vote yes.
Wind Waker had some of the best dungeons in Zelda (my opinion of course, no need to freak out over it.) And I found it was one of the only Zelda games that had good little cities in it.
Oh, and if you don't like cartoony, screw you then. You're missing out because of something so trivial as graphics. Wind Waker was awesome.

You know Wind Waker is one of my favorite Zelda games. =/ Twilight Princess is merely following TWW's footsteps. They have the same problems, that shouldn't affect the player's perception at all.

Hardly. Twilight Princess is my third favorite game ever, Wind Waker is my sixth favorite Zelda ever...regardless of where I list my favorite games, they're still my favorite games. TWW used to be my least favorite Zelda, but even if it was still my least favorite Zelda, I wouldn't trash it to a pulp. I still love it.

Pointing out obvious experience ruining flaws is not grinding to a pulp

So if we liked WW but disliked TP, what do we tick?

If Zeldablue WEREN'T pissed off at all the TP hate, she'd have remembered to put a middleground option.

Instead, she's trying to corner us into saying we hate Zelda.
