Re: magic armor READ BEFOR POSTING
It took me not to long to raise all the money needed to get it. (not the original price, I'm talking about Malo Mart donating) but I got it right before Hyrule Castle, so it was pretty much a waste. I was fighting Gannondorf with only 3 hearts and then realized I had it right after I had beat him, so I was like ****!

Re: magic armor READ BEFOR POSTING
I just think it's fun to mess around with. I watched an arrow strike Link right between the eyes. And that arrow bent in half. xP It was so cool. And since I wanted to get every treasure chest...I use it to eat rupees.

Re: magic armor READ BEFOR POSTING
Mandrag is right. I use it, 90% of the time, as a rupee drainer so I can get rid of all the damn chests that I'll never have to revisit anyway because I can already get 200 rupees any time from Gengle after killing all 60 Poes. Seriously, what were they thinking? You already have unlimited rupees because of that side quest, so why would they give you more in the chests? They should have included different things in the chests, such as enemy bracelets, pendants, crowns, etc, that could be sold or something. Even if it's technically the same thing as rupees, it would have been unique and wouldn't make me hate opening chests.
It's like they just ran out of ideas and just decided to stick rupees in everything. The other 10% of the time I use the armor for is in the Cave of Ordeals when you have to fight 3 Darknuts. (4 on your second run through)

Re: magic armor READ BEFOR POSTING
I use it only in the last room or Gerudo Mesa. But I do get it because I want to get a 100% in TP every time since it's so easy. I don't bother with the 100 skulltullas in OoT but other than that I always like to get 100% as well as I can in Zelda games. And Why did you (only link) say it's hard to get the money for it? Rupees are the biggest issue in TP, there just is too much of them and no real way to use them so your wallet is always full and that just irritates me. I get a momentary release on my nerves every time I have to use larger sums of money than just occasional 10-40 rupees. Hate the rupee issue, there used to be games that rupee collecting was a challenge in.

Re: magic armor READ BEFOR POSTING
I like the concept of the Magic Armor. It spends rupees in order to protect you, however briefly, from enemy attacks. It may not have many uses in TP, but that last floor in the Cave of Ordeals, the one with four Darknuts, was a good opportunity to use it. I also liked to use it simply so that I could get chests with rupees in them, even when my wallet was full.
However, it would have been better if it was treated as an item as opposed to as another armor piece. This way, you would set it to a button (Y or X), and just hit that button when you wanted to equip/dequip it. Beats pressing start and selecting the armor. Also, beating 100 Poes is impossible, since there are only 60 in the game. Or do you know of a glitch? |

Re: magic armor READ BEFOR POSTING
The only thing that I've used the magic armour for is seeing what happens when you use it on Epona. If all the rupees are drained and you get on your horse (with normal tunic or Zora armour) and then put on magic armour while on her, she throughs Link off. Other than that I don't use it.

At the very end of TP I put on the Magic armor and lost all my money then put on iron boots and then killed Ganondorf. It was funny to watch Link run around stomping up a storm.

Meh, I like getting it for the side-quest. Never actually use it.

Re: magic armor READ BEFOR POSTING
I like the fact that the Magic Armour in TP uses your ruppees. I hated it in the earlier dungeons when you had to put money back in those treasure chests because your wallet was almost, or was full. I love cleaning every dungeon of the treasure boxes on the map before I proceed to the boss.
But the one thing I dislike about the Magic Armour was the fact that you walked like you were wearing Iron Boots when all your ruppees were depleted. I wouldn't mind making Link run around with his cool armour on. His green tunic gets boring over a while.

Re: magic armor READ BEFOR POSTING
I would actually prefer if it didn't have any effect at all and didn't cost ruppees (so it was just for looks), but I get it anyway because, well, it's there to get.
