TP: There are actually 3 shields.

I still have my original Ordon shield. I like it better becuase it cant be replaced. Once its gone its gone forever.

The reason I prefer Wooden Shield is that I don't like Ordon Shield's design. I think it fits Rancher Link more than Hero of Time Link.

Yeah I have done that about 2 times but I neever thought the wooden and ordon shield where different.

This thread is old info. It just shows that the first shield you get is unique because it was made by the Ordonians and not by the folk in Kakariko.

But really... I was so looking forward to a mirror shield in TP. They didn't even bother including one in. ; - ;

I didn't really focus on the shields, I just bought the Hylian shield from Malo and forgot about it.

Eh, I don't prefer wooden shields or swords. They're pretty useless. The way you look at the wooden shield, it's equal in strength to the Hylian Shield, but it can set on fire. The wooden sword really serves no purpose. It is only there in the beginning to train the player to get used to sword techniques. I don't see why a lot of you are praising it.

Yeah, when that happened I was like "Aweesooommmmmeeeee" then when it went away TT_TT by by awesomeness....it was such a great little plot twist too I think for the orbs of light thing.
