Re: Twilight Princess: better or worse than old games?
Don't post size 7 font, especially if you're going to do something as idiotic as full caps.
e-shouting is pathetic and will get you no-where. You're effectively negating any credibility you have or had with that outburst. Oh - and seeing you're American, I think it's fairly hypocritical in itself that you want to point out the flaws of the English language in other people seeing you speak a corrupted version of the original language. Any more petty arguments and I'll lock the thread. Grow up. And I say that in general to any past and potential arguments about nothing.

Re: Twilight Princess: better or worse than old games?
I'd say it's on the lower spectrum of Zelda games, mainly because it doesn't innovate enough and was a bit too linear for the series. However, it's not the worst Zelda game (that would be Phantom Hourglass - ridiculously easy and tedious), nor the worst console Zelda (that would be Adventure of Link - a mess which mixes several genres and does justice to none of them ) nor even the worst 3D Zelda (Wind Waker is slightly worse, because of a few tedious elements).

Re: Twilight Princess: better or worse than old games?
TP is a beautiful game, but it wasn't the best out of all the other games. OoT still stands as the flawless game ever.
There could have been more in TP, but IMO, it was better than WW.

Re: Twilight Princess: better or worse than old games?
I do, in fact, miss the stuff from the old games which were mindlessly removed from Twilight Princess. As you said, the lack of Fire/Ice/Light Arrows and a Magic Meter (we all know it was originally in the game, but they just had to dump it and take their chances, ignoring the fact that all the good Zeldas had a Magic Meter), Octoroks showed up in every Zelda before and after TP, but not TP? There's not much of an explanation behind this. I was also eager to see a new design for the Mirror Shield in TP, just like OoT, MM, and TWW. But I was disappointed.
And anyone remember those beloved Shooting Galleries from OoT and MM? What about the unforgettable horseback archery? Not only did TP have both Epona and a Bow, the Wii version even had motion controls to top it off. But here's the catch: no shooting gallery. You know where you won the quiver upgrades as prizes instead? A minigame using your CLAWSHOT, not your BOW. I also missed the old charm that Gorons and Zoras had. Anyway that's my two cents.
