Yes, there were. You used them to fly to the platform with the treasure chests in Lake Hylia. But when you hit them with your sword they just ignored you and flew away.. -_____- when they should've pecked my brain out!!!

I thought it was weird they decided to let you control the cuccoos. I figured it was supposed to be like controlling the seagulls in Wind Waker. And I'm sure it has to do with the Sky People being Cuccoos, which really bugged me...
