Who would you want for a main boss in Spirit Tracks.

I would want to see some sort of new villain similar to Majora's Mask.

As long as he/she isn't some random monster (like Bellum) and has an interesting character development, why not? Seriously, if they pull another Bellum I'll barely trust Nintendo with original baddies again. Might as well keep Ganon(dorf). Vaati was interesting, but I just didn't like him for some reason.

If Vaati was to reappear (I can't spell that word) I would **** bricks.

I would like to see Bellum return, but in a different context. Since the phantom makes a return, why can't Bellum? From the early trailers released so far, it appears that the Phantom is a main character. Usually, the Zelda series only gives personality to Link's partner and the villain. I personally loved Bellum, but he really needs more of a backstory.

Vaati only looks cooler, but in reality he's a wuss. His one and only boss fight in FSA wasn't even that epic. Then again, neither was any boss in that game.

EDIT: IF they give Bellum a return, AND more character development than "rawr ima monster and ima kill you cuz that's what monsters do!" I would completely forgive PH. Until then, no.

I agree. They did not explain what Bellum was, what Bellum's motivation was, or what Bellum was trying to do. Aura Pulse said it well: Villains should not be monsters which destroy stuff because they are monsters. They should be thinking beings who made the mistake of being evil.

Yeah, Bellum wasn't a sea monster. Besides, The Wind Waker took place on the ocean, but the villain was still Ganondorf and you fought him on land. So, Spirit Tracks could still be on land and have you fight Bellum somewhere where's there's water.

Vaati seems kind of like the go-to villain for cell-shaded Zelda (minus Wind Waker, and Bellum doesn't count as a villain). I think we should see him again, with some interesting new stuff.

I say they bring him back BECAUSE of that. Although how was Majora different? He was just a random evil creature that wanted to destroy for no reason, yet people never bash him.

We at least have some background on Majora, as he was made to be used in hexing rituals by an ancient tribe and therefore his purpose is to do solely evil things and nothing else. Hopefully Nintendo will make a sequel and clarify more details about Majora's past.
